Listening to 10 minutes of english with an italian accent is the real treat

@LucarioBoricua

I have three sizes at home: 1-cup, 2-cup and 6-cup, all being Bialetti Moka Express pots. My always-trusty morning starter is the 2-cup, which I use for a balanced coffee / milk drink, closer to a flat white or a cortado. For the afternoon, I go with the 1-cup, recreating a similar drink to the one in the morning, but at a smaller portion to avoid being over-caffeinated. Meanwhile, the 6-cup I use to share, usually for 3-4 people who each get somewhere between a 1-cup to a 2-cup equivalent portion. In practice, however, I've measured the volume of the 6-cup and its yield is closer to 5-cup.

Best explanation about moka sizes that I've ever seen! πŸ™‚

@ffnrew

This is so useful! I don't think I saw any other videos about moka pot that explained this concept as clearly as yours! Thanks!

@NegativeCompensation

Great explanation! Bought the 2-cup after watching one of your videos and I’m loving it when making coffee just for one person. Also have the 4-cup and the 6-cup, all wonderful depending on how many people are having coffee.

@monkeypuzzle2746

10:25 I drink the entire 6-cup Moka on Monday mornings when I really need the boost. Tuesday through Friday is French Press and the weekend is solely for espresso and espresso based drinks.

@JohnStefaniFI

I bought a used 6 cup Moka about a year ago. My wife and I like to have our daily coffee Americano style. We each drink about 2-3 cups in the morning. Typically I'll get up first and make coffee using boiling water from the teapot. Once the brewing is finished on the stove, I'll take a shot and then use additional hot water from the teapot to fill my 10 oz cup. My wife does the same but will add milk. At the end of our morning any left over shots will go into a sealed glass jar and put into the fridge. Then when needed the next day, we measure a shot and add boiling water to make it 10oz.

This is what works for us!

@h.orrore

Caffeine is another thing to consider. I've used a 3-cup twice a day for years, but if I'm being honest, I'm always slightly over-caffeinated. I may try your 2-cup suggestion soon.

@mrkitewine7700

A superb video, thank you.
I use a 3 cup for a single large mug of milky coffee (50/50 coffee/milk), I use a 6 cup for a similar drink for 2 people.

@d.parisi

I enjoyed the video. I have a 3 cup Bialetti and usually add hot milk (sometimes frothed) to my coffee. Don't ask how I make spaghetti sauce ...it's more complicated.πŸ˜‚

@ztryfe

Such a great video! Thanks for explaining this with so much detail and perspective so that we can make a good choice!

@TheUnknowndragon78

I would love to see you do a review of the 12 cup and 14 cup and 18 cup moka pots. Appreciate your videos. Thank you

@GeOOPLAY1

I just buyed my first ever moka. A 6 cup Hudson M002. I think after watching this I've mistaken a little bit because it's two large due to I'm the only one who drinks coffee in my house. The good part is I have the best excuse to introduce my family to a nice coffee experience. Goated video Matteo!

@simonhudson5033

I have 1,2,4 and 6 cup. The 2 cup gets the most use by far but, as the video shows, they look great on the shelf together,worth getting the others just for that!

@franciscomerino5586

Chao Matteo!!! Tutto a posto?! OMG, dude! You’re teaching me so much 🀯 you’re giving me one revelation after another!!!! Thank you so much Matteo!! Molte graze bello! πŸ™πŸ½πŸ‡»πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

@maeish9471

This video was super informative! I'm planning to get a moka pot soon but as someone who prefers latte style milky coffee trying to figure out the right size felt so daunting up until now

@krazmokramer

I feel like this video is directed at me!πŸ˜„ After watching your last moka video, I adjusted my coffee/water ratio to 24.00g coffee/285g H2O in my 6 cup Alessi moka. I stopped adding H2O to make an Americano in my 20oz coffee cup, and now drink the moka coffee "straight up" out of a demitasse cup. I can fill that cup 4.5 times slowly over the course of my breakfast instead of gulping down 20oz. I find this new way of drinking my coffee to be a much more enjoyable, and relaxed, way to start my day. THANK YOU MATTEO for helping me to discover this new dining pleasure!!

@franckbald3750

Hi Matteo, thanks for your video. I have:

- the 1-cup, for a small caffeine shot in the afternoon.
- the 2-cups. I don't use it; I never get a good result with it (I don't like the acidity it gives to the medium-roasted coffees I like).
- the 3-cups, after lunch, every day. Nice size for accessories (AP filter, dosing funnel) and to play with water level depending on the desired bitterness with dark-roasted coffee.

I tend to replace the 1-cup with the Kamira: the more I use this wonderful coffee maker, the more I like it! If you haven't tried it yet, go for it!

And I was looking towards the Mokina (1/2 cup) for my collection, but I learned it wasn't made in Italy.πŸ˜•

@marcvdm1111

My go to moka pot is a 3 cups pulcina. Around 18 grams of coffee and about 140 grams of room temp water. It gives me the right amount of coffee in the morning, and make 2 servings. Always medium roasts, which are easier to control and replicate as dark roast (which normally lacks acidity). Don't know about light roast, they are hard to find. I know I have told this before - In my experience the pulcina's design (concave boiler and "built in" heat dispenser makes it a better moka pot as the Bialetti moka express (which I also have in a 3 and 6 cup version, but hardly use anymore). Thanks Matteo for the always informative videos!

@Arracaptures

Thank you! Very helpful. :) I usually have 1-2 small cups of drip coffee a day with a space for milk. So I guess, I'll be buying the 2 cups!
