Tried this in the most unbiased way… Couldn’t achieve half the loudness I needed with it, used two instances of Pro-L2 and got -6db and a clean master

I'm a huge slate digital fan however I found myself going back to the original fxg for one of two reasons. The original fxg is way more CPU friendly than the second. The Fxg 2 would sometimes have a delay when turning the knobs if you are in a session with a lot of other plugins running at the same time. And my computer is a i7 with about 20 gigs of RAM. The other reason is it colors the sound way more than the original fxg which isn't technically bad it just depends on what you're going for. And the many other parameters are good. But when working with the original sometimes it's way simpler to get what you want with less parameters, for the additional options may potentially make you lose your focus by over tweeking. It's a good limiter however I just wish at least it wasn't that cpu-intensive

Hello I see you using Mac mini for your studio Can you recommend configuration for it in order to be happy to accommodate home studio? Up to 20 tracks… with basic effects on strips (comp and eq) plus maybe 2-3 synth plugins.. I use at the moment t i7 with 16Gb but it can’t handle project even with so little plugins (I need to bounce midi and disable plugins sometimes to be able to work) even when my buffer is max setting..

hello, i have MixCraft, not easy to use, sound not yet playing to speakers. i need DAW i can use with Presonus. plug guitar into Presonas, into PC, with software running, with NO latency. which software works for this? Garageband was so easy!
