They got my expectations on the hardware but failed on games I was on the hype train but 80$ for Mario ehhhh lol and I don’t play madden it hasn’t been good since madden 08 was hoping for NHL Not a big fan of wwe either was hoping for UFC No new Zelda no new Mario besides Mario kart 80$ for a updated version of the Zelda’s I already have I’m good on that as well Starwars outlaws I have mixed feelings about should have been Starwars survivors Kirby and donkey Kong I’m hyped for Hitman looked good missed those games Hoping the new sniper game comes to switch 2 I’m excited for split fiction Tony hawk was good was hoping for the new skate game
I was mind blown when hearing that the Switch 2’s internal storage will be 256 GB because my phone’s internal storage is 128. It is however the same as my iPad’s internal storage (which is 256), so there’s that.
I am so hyped for the switch 2. Yes I’m ticked off about the game prices, but totally going for the switch 2 bundle with Mario kart world. 🎉
Your energy is always so good Zach! Been watching you for years, both here and on ghostrobo, and have always loved your videos! Keep it going 👍
Love the new logo
I really hope accessibility is a major feature in this system. It would be very beneficial for people like myself who are blind or visually impaired. Not to mention the Xbox and PlayStation already have it.
Im still hoping for a Streetpass like thing. They kinda have some things set up for it and they specifically said there are more features to be announced and they said in regards to community building and all of these interconnectivity features. I would love for something like that to be a feature they held back in announcing. I'll be curious to see the features they were referring to, that they will share in the coming weeks until launch.
The pricing of the system doesn't bother me. Tech costs money and I'm willing to pay for better performance, visuals, etc. What bothers me is the price of games. At least, what we assume is the price. If they assume that people will easily accept that much of an increase in game pricing, they're in for a heck of a time chasing down ROMS that will inevitably become available. I feel that these kinds of game prices, along with them looking to charge for updated versions of games people have already paid for will absolutely push more people to look into the world of emulation. Just my 2 pennies.
I'll be curious to see how much we all use the 120fps handheld, since it appears (from the one example they gave us) that it will be at 720p. As opposed to playing in full 1080HD and 60fps. I think, just from experience that 1080HD at 60fps will be better, since it will be in handheld and I think resolution will be more desirable over having more than 60fps. On full screen docked I can see 120fps be beneficial, with 1080HD, in some things and for a lot of people. That being said, it will be really interesting to see. I'll definitely play in both and check it out and I am impressed that they were able to do 120fps in handheld. I just hope it isn't something that never really matters. Maybe in other games we'll be able to get 120fps at 1080 in handheld. That would be really amazing. I'll be shocked if that is the case. There could be a few though.
I don't think you will be able to play Switch 2 games on the Switch with Game Share. I think it will only be Switch games, playing backwards compatible on the Switch 2, that can be shared with a Switch. They did not show any Switch 2 games being shared with Switch. The list of first games were all Switch games. It's cool and I'm glad we have it for Switch 2 to Switch 2. It's taking us back to the DS days and I love that.
I said in a comment in your last video that I would wait a year but I will wait till black friday at the earliest. I can't afford one right now but I am sure I will have the money by november and HOPEFULLY MAYBE get some sort of deal. Aside from the pricing of the games, I think this will be a great console. I even think the price for the switch 2 and the bundle is a decent price. I just PRAY that $80 for Mario Kart and $70 for Donkey Kong is not the norm. I got a bit used to the $70 price tag for some games but $80 is way too much.
Personally ill be waiting for the oled version (unless a new smash bros drops first)
The glazing is crazy
Analog or digital triggers?
the Nintendo Virtual Boy was a time that Nintendo didn't meet my expectations :(
Do we have confirmation on hall effect controllers?
I am so excited for the Nintendo Switch 2.
But if we use our old Switches n Lites for new Mario Kart multiplayer, how can those screens keep the new game looking and playing new? It’s an old screen.
The only games they appear to not even be trying for compatibility are Fortnite (there'll be a Switch 2 version, and it's already free to play, so it's unnecessary), maybe a couple of other games that are getting new ports to Switch 2, and for some reason Labo VR--everything else they're supposedly working on (feels annoyingly like the Vita compatibility situation back in the day). Why not the VR? A labo VR rig was not strictly necessary (it basically function like all those junk VR housings for cell phones, and there were third-party options for the Switch, so there's no reason that it couldn't be made for the Switch 2). I wonder if the Switch 2 runs too hot to have so close to your face? Or does Nintendo have a VR alternative in the works? My personal take on the expensive Switch 2 games is to buy the Switch 2 bundle, get Mario Kart for fifty (even if it is digital), and play through my terrifying backlog of Switch 1 games with better performance until Nintendo lowers their prices--hopefully the prices are this absurdly high only because of the tariffs, but if not, voting with our wallets is the only way to change Nintendo's behavior.
