This wise woman taught her little boy to point out how ridiculous racism is in front of a massive audience. She needs to be applauded.

@reformatted6272

The way he creates tension with real life stories and then releases it with humor is honestly so good.

@johanaj4635

I really want to meet his mother. Such a strong woman! Raised a good human being ✨

@samuelubenson

Our African women has really embedded a lot of positive morals and standard in their children,regardless of the tough and rough marital challenges they faced.

Trevor: The Love of Jesus
Everyone: Yes, INDEEEED!

@LittleOneBecky

That touches my heart how he shows respect for his mother.

@sallyskellington3024

I remember when my son first realized he was a different skin tone than me. We were laying on my bed, we were laughing at the TV, and we both pointed at the screen. He looked at our arms and asked me, Why are my arms so much browner than yours? I said because, your father is a black man, he said oh, OK, so thats why I'm so brownie. I laughed sooooo hard! And of course ever since then he has always noticed racist people who treat him so very differently. He always says, well I always figure that its their problem that they hate people, I don't. He was raised Catholic, as was I, and the church we attended there were few people of color who attended but he definitely learned that he simply treated people with love and respect and that if they couldnt do that in return it didnt change who he was personally.

@theallknowingfox83

Read his memoir "Born a Crime" to know more about his mom. We need more people like her in this world.

@sindiswamabunda6495

I swear Every black mom in SA says “the love of Jesus” the same way

@julesA5266

His mom is incredible! I mean, getting shot in the head and surviving? Dayum.

@sarahmbabazi8774

@fredson2167

Ma man was questioning his whole life in that second 🤣

@FreedomUninterrupted

"He thought it was going to be a regular racist day!" LOL
It is unreasonable how much I relate to this and find it hilarious at the same time! What growing up in Louisiana does to you. 🤣🤣🤣

@reyna7100

A wise man raised by a Godly woman. I pray he makes it back to his source. Wishing the best for Trevor 🙌🏾💗

@modkhi
