Well, thanks for telling me that there is such a difference between physical and logical qubits. It's something which I never saw mentioned anywhere before.
I am a lawyer and i don't know why i am here, considering i detest math consequently computing. But i like listening to things i know nothing of and learning about it. P.s. your beard and accent helped me to watch the entire video 😁
You are able to put things in a way that newspaper science reporters exactly can't...
You are the best person at explaining quantum I have ever seen
For classical complexity (entropy) of K, maximal quantum complexity is e^e^K (universal complexity). Besides noise, we may never know the algorithm of a QC function. The best we can hope is a far rudimentary QC function, but we are no where near one that enables us to arrive at error correcting.
Great video, Dominic! The "movie night" reel popped up in my suggestions, and after it and this one, you got a new enthusiastic sub in me.
Funny - I was just out for a run, and I wondered: When will Dom put out his next video? And sure enough, my phone had a notification when I got back. Neat coincidence.
I really, really appreciate your realistic view on these things. Sometimes scientists can start to sound like marketing experts and promise the world, so I appreciate your honestly. It's so refreshing. Great information as usual.
This is infinitely better than the Kurzgesagt explanation, now I actually understand what quantum computers are, what they can do, where they are in terms of progress, and how they compare to classical computers. Thank you!
Nothing better than a dreamy scientist explaining things to me... SO much more engaging.
This is one of those things where I don’t understand a thing he’s saying but I just enjoy sitting here, blissfully staring blankly at my screen.
Am I the only one who believe we should see many more videos on this channel? Super clear and precise!
Excelent Video!! What software do you use?
please do a map of astronomy
This really helped clear things up. I should really get information from scientists rather than news sources, since I had been confused about what the real challenges were with quantum computing and also believed at any random time we could achieve the ability to break every encryption on the planet.
Great Video, knew a bit about Quantum Computing but from this, have learnt a lot more ✔️ Thanks!
Really great videos. Have watched most of them. Please keep it up.
Ah, I'm glad to finally have a video with all of these spelled out that I can just link in a discussion. So tired of explaining them myself. Thanks!
Great summary of current state, thank you!
