Wow! This is a wonderful programming dance, leading to beautiful code.

I've been programming for over 40 years.  I've noticed over the last 20 years (working in startups) there was was no talk or respect for beautiful, elegant, easy to understand code.  It is great to see "clean code" is bringing this back.

My usual programming cycle (after defining the problem) is: design, code, test, refactor. (No more than 5 or 10 min for each cycle.)  I'm now going to practice: test, code, refactor. It looks like the design part is now spread across this loop, to make the code more general with small changes.
