That Alabama game was the Highlight of his career. I can see him 30 years from now, bragging about it drinking a beer.
Being a Professional means - working hard and doing a great job, even when you don't want to.
"Don't get cocky kid" - Han Solo
You know when Skip Bayless starts giving you praise your career is already over.
Once Manziel did that money gesture when he was drafted, I knew he was going to be a bust. Life lesson: If the money is your focus, you will hate the job. If the job is your focus, you will enjoy the money.
What Johnny Manziel did in college, Patrick Mahomes is doing it in the nfl.
Narrator: "Of all the fascinating downfall stories in the NFL, Manziel's is the most recent and most covered by the media." Antonio Brown: "Hold my beer."
I was partying in LA at the clubs around the same time he had just been drafted. Saw him a few times in the clubs living it up, getting drunk with the bottle service. Figured he would be a bust. Just way too into living the fast life vs. being a good QB in the NFL.
"He's like Brett Favre, on a motorcycle". Yeah, with no brakes and a wall in front of him.
I love that you're shouting out StrongOpinion. two of my favorite channels
From the Bible: "He who humbles himself will be exalted and he who exalts himself will be humbled." That sums up the Johnny Manziel story.
He'll never play in the NFL ever again. You only get one shot due to the amount of prospects entering the NFL year in year out. - Truth
Johnny and I had the same problem. Went from a full ride engineering scholarship to living on couches because I thought my natural abilities could get me through and instead spent my time getting drunk and high. I hope he can make his comeback in the XFL and can conquer his demons. He could be one helluva talent.
Johnny Manziel "I don't know the X's and O's of football" Every Cleveland Browns coach for the last 10 years "are you challenging me?"
2012, I was 16yo kid from indonesia, almost nobody here that watch american football. I was reading eyeshield 21 manga, then started to search and watch a some real games out of curiosity. That was how i stumbled upon the greatness of johnny manziel and instantly fell in love. Been watching nfl ever since, thank you johnny❤️
He thought the CFL was gonna be a pushover, turned out he couldn't play there either.
"Hard work beats talent, when talent does not work hard" - the real story of Johnny Football.
Manzel's biggest curse was being over hyped yet under developed extremely early his career. He was allowed to get away with too many mistakes on the field in collage that didn't transfer well in the pros, all in all he was wildly undisciplined and under developed.
He partied more than worked, didn't even work out for him in the CFL either.
