I watched my grandmother die. And, yes. She could still hear me til her last moment. RIP grandma.
Long before Empire Strikes Back was released, its poster listing cast added "Frank Oz as Yoda." Muppet Show fans at the time all knew of Frank Oz. When Yoda first spoke, his voice was likened far more to Fozzie Bear than to Miss Piggy...
@ 25:35 to add on to the "screaming grass" and the stuff that's released? When a plant, tree, etc. is under stress, from damage, lack of care or just old age, they emit a certain chemical smell or something that sends a signal out much like a distress signal. The plant eating creatures will go for that plant and eat it first. In this way the species of plant life has the "strong survive" gene thing going on and the animal gets a snack that's nice and tasty without as much damage to the enviornment. This might explain that when you plant your garden some of the stuff gets eaten right away by the rabbits and squirrels and deer! Plant is under stress, sends the "I'm not in great shape, just eat me!" signal.
The octopus does not have tentacles, they have arms. Arms have suckers along their length. Tentacles have suckers only on the pads at the end. An octopus has eight arms while a squid has eight arms and two tentacles. The cuttlefish also has both types of appendage.
23:20: Ed Headrick (inventor of the Frisbee®) having his remains turned into a Frisbee is the ultimate "Ultimate Frisbee"
"Tell me something I don't know." "Without mucus, your stomach would digest itself." "Tell me something else I don't know. Something less disturbing."
I guess it never dawned on me that there's generations out there now that actually had no idea that the legendary Frank Oz was the mastermind behind Yoda as well as Miss Piggie.
This was amazingly retro, almost like the videos we got when the channel first came online.
Frank oz does not get enough credit for his incredible performances as not only multiple Muppets but also the best star wars character
As always highly fascinating, a few i knew, some not at all. The owl taking home snakes likely for pest control is just another example of nature working together, absolutely fascinating ❤ And two of my cats woke up swiftly all confused when the rats were doing their laughing squeals 😂😂😂 Double the entertainment value tonight ❤ Plus, so close to the 12 million mark, you're nearly there 😮🤞❤️
29:20 I'm old enough to know this from typing class in school 😆 "ASDFJKL;" Was something that we had to memorize, then show proficiency in typing without looking at the keys..... And yes, this was something that could get you a big fat "F" on the typing proficiency test, if "sightless typing" was required for the test.....
So if I eat a pizza with my feet, is it less calories?
In 1947, my grandmother's identical twin brothers married identical twin sisters. The brothers were also preachers. Was always weirded out, when we had family get-togethers.
The potato fact warms my Irish heart...lol...
Being a twin myself I often think of fun scenarios like the very same on in this video. Another interesting thought is if twins were born at 11:59pm and 12:00am they would have different birthdays, take it further and say it was new years Eve and new years day they would be born within different years🤯🤘
If they understand you while they're passing away, isn't it a comforting thought? They still hear you tell them you love them. Well, if they understand you, that is...
"Be sure to play Highway to Hell full blast while dying". A tremendously tasteless thing to say.
This was an amazingly informative and fun video. Taught me quite a bit. Thank you!!😊
11:10 This is incorrect, as most people have equal height and arm span, but not all people. It's sometimes called your "ape index" and the ratio, along with other factors divide humans into ectomorphs, mesomorphs, endomorphs. Same goes with basically every x is the same length as y "fact" (such as the foot/arm thing he mentions next), it's true for most people, but hardly all.
