I hope the person(s) in charge of this stage will see my note: the lighting with its overhead lights is very harsh on the speaker's faces and creates horrible, ugly shadows, it is not diffused sufficiently. Looking at Dr. Ann Druyan's face and now Prof Kaltenegger's, they could look so much better if the lighting could be fixed/upgraded, more diffused etc.

I hate to break it to Old Carl Sagan who's supposed to be so intelligent but the truth is assuming that there's life out there other than us just because of the vastness of space is purely foolish.

With our sample of one, consider that this rock hosts life that is 80% parasitic and we in our transition from being part of it to parasitic... I would have reservations about other intelligent life being anything different. Sure, there might be "My Little Pony, Care Bears" out there... we by our nature are not yet one of them as we are happy go lucky consume our mother.
