I love the dupe makeup especially when they are as good as the high end since I will never be able to afford the high end so I’m happy that drugstore is improving-blessings

There's nothing wrong with a good dupe. Not everyone can run out and pay almost $50-60 for one item. We can almost custom build a whole look with that amount with affordable products. Good ideas should be for everyone. She should take it as a compliment and keep innovating. She should be proud that she inspires the industry.

I watch colorful looks and I wear them as well and I’m 60 so it makes me happy I wear it for myself not for anyone else-I live in Florida so I am already over the hot weather we are in the 90’s every day would love a cool breeze 😅

I usually do natural makeup but sometimes I like some color for going out. These palettes are great for that bc it’s not expensive.

I’m always in awe watching you create colorful and sultry eye looks, Julie. I don’t usually wear vibrant eyeshadows, but I do enjoy watching you master your talents. Sometimes I’ll try a soft lilac, pale pink/blue shadow since my eyes are blue when I’m not working, just for a fun look. You look really cute! I also don’t mind drugstore brands duping the high-end ones. There’s enough talent and innovation to benefit everyone. It’s still cool at night here in NJ but this week it’s supposed to be in the 80s. I’m not a fan of really hot & humid weather, but we need it to help grow our vegetable garden. 😍

I like a soft eye look, but that means color as often as neutrals, partly because GRWM videos make me braver about combining colors. 🙂

In my younger days, I used to wear some colorful looks. But as I've gotten older, i have kept the color to a fun pop of color in my waterline and / or on my lower lash line. I feel like that's just enough for me. My favorite look is a bronzy eye look with Urban Decay Overdrive liner in my waterline.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. East Bay actually. It gets hot here. Right now at 2:00pm it’s 77 so it will be 82-83 a little later. In the middle and end of summer it can get in in 100’s. I love colorful eyeshadow looks. I love purples and greens so I come up with ideas when you show me how. Thank you for that. I’ve loved makeup up since I was a little girl watching the neighbor girls put on their makeup. ( I was a pesky little girl ). I find putting on makeup one of my most relaxing thing to do. I can spend a couple hours getting ready while my husband has to wait. I have hazel eyes so purples and greens looks good on me. But your right colorful eyeshadow is kind of dead. Not to many girls use it anymore. The focus is on healthy skin something I’ve been longing for. Lately I’ve been using a mushroom brown with a little silver on the lid. A little dusting of gold shimmer on the lower rim. It’s fun!
