if one could only choose one, which one to choose between 'jack of all, master of one' or the opposite?

@kidkwlify

Do you have advice on how to grow when you are the newest and most junior person in a very top-heavy team? I am a mid but find it hard to know where I can make a significant impact when everyone around me have way more experience and more knowledge about our code base. So I need their help to gain context to be able to do anything. I also don't have anyone junior to me to teach and mentor so I just feel kind of stuck and that I'll always have to play catchup.
