This is one thing that xbox has over playstation. I wish i could just pop a ps1/ps2 disk into my ps5 and just play them without needing to hook up my ps2

Xbox also allows to purchase digital game keys on discout on external digital stores like G2A, Instang Gaming and CD-Keys, Playstation meanwhile got sued by the FTC for monopoly on digital prices (same as Nintendo).

Honestly the advantage of xbox over ps for me is having a proper web browser. Sure I can jump through hoops on ps5 to access a somewhat functional web browser. But I can stream games from the browser on Xbox like geforce now, I can emulate games through the browser on Xbox.

The series x is the ultimate gaming console. Gamepass has made me a totally different gamer. I used to mostly play sports games or rockstar type ganes but since they took away gold i just got the entire gamepass b/c i used to only play the games i paid for. But i decided to try gamepass a couple years ago & ive discovered so many games i never would've bought myself. My backlog of games is pacled b/c theres sales every other day. Theres games i may have wanted but didnt wanna pay $70 for. In a few months i can get it for $24.99-$29.99. I got a chance to play Ghost of Tsushima thru the ps plus subscription, but i canceled it after but i liked it so much i wanted to buy it but its 5 years old & its still $70...Thats ridiculous

ever heard of the PS3 4 port? it played ps3, ps2 and ps1 games. The PSX (not the ps1) could play ps2 and ps1 games in 2004. Playstation was the first to create backwards compatibility on a full sized console.

The funniest thing about the war console is that ps gamers believe that xbox gamers are missing out for not acquiring their favorite gaming system and viceversa when the reality is that both consoles were released to the market with a similar price and if xbox gamers really wanted to buy a ps5 they would've just do so AND viceversa. I own a PS5 and I am totally happy with it, I've been able to play games that I would never been able to play on an xbox and I am pretty sure that xbox gamers feel just as happy with their console cus gamepass is an amazing service. If I really wanted an xbox I would easily acquire one anytime. There is no really need for stupid fights over which one is better at the end people will just get the one they like the most and that's it.

With the incredible work being done on RPCS3, I believe Sony could make PS3 emulation work on PS5. The only problem is they don't think they can monetize it. Sucks for the consumer.

It’s not as simple as the video makes it seem. When I had a series x I tried playing a few 360 games by putting the discs into the system and it wouldn’t respond to any of them. When I looked it up, I learned that certain games won’t work because of gamepass and other stuff like that.

Xbox is not backwards compatible anymore lmao. You can’t put in a 360 game into the new Xbox x or one. You have to buy digital games and half the time they run like shit. My Xbox 360s is ten times better than the new crap. I can put in original Xbox games in my 360 and plays great . 360 was the last backwards compatible system. Now everything is all digital and crap. Digital games suck.. every digital game has bugs and crashes more than if you owned a disc.

Playstation plus also has around 500 games available in their library including uncharted,god of war,hogwarts legacy and ghost of Tsushima
