@TheAlmostAstrophysicist

Hi all!✨I know it's been forever, I missed YouTube a lot. I'm working on a video just to update you all on why I was MIA for 2 years. It's a long story and unfortunately hard for me to edit for a lot of reasons, so I'll continue to work on bringing you all Data Science content, and trust that you will see the "update" video soon. Thank you all 💛!

@andrew7590

As a current uchicago student interested in data science, it's fascinating to hear what life after college is like. Thanks for the videos!

@serp_3nt79

Wow, it's been a while! Looking forward to your next video

@anandsoma4615

Hey! I just wanted to thank you cuz I started watching you since Covid back in hs and now I just started as Data Scientist at a nearby hospital! I just wanted to thank you because your videos helped me learn a lot about the field and prep for the interviews, so thanks again! Glad you're back!

@AlessandraAleluia

Welcome back! And thank you so much for the video, it helped a lot ❤

@ismaeljimenez8586

You should definitely feel grateful, a lot of us wish we were in your position rn. I'm also a physics graduate from a top school and I'm about to be 12 months unemployed next month. I've been trying to break into data science since my sophomore year and haven't even been able to land a simple analyst job. I wanna say your videos have helped me in interviews tho I've gotten to the last round of multiple interviews but something always happens at the last minute (hiring freeze, ghosted, etc.)

@spifuntastic621

Really enjoyed the video!! Pretty interesting to see all the things you've learnt at every company you've worked at! I really loved the part at 7:45, it's honestly something that worries me a lot with CS/DS stuff in general and it's pretty upsetting to see how basically everything on the internet is tailored to be hyper stimulating just for more ad watch time :/

@kar01870

Great to see you making videos again, Priya!

@sudhakota811

Good to see you back!!

@TheMiguel710

I am a data scientist too and I am currently in the process of moving from a big company to a start-up up. I have worked in a start-up before and I understand your point clearly. The type of work I've done in both types of companies is very different and since I am only a few years in, I want to do lots of things and experiment. Your video is very good and relatable. Keep up the good work!

@jonmartin3026

Welcome back. I was wondering what happened to you and I'll be on the lookout for your next vid 😀

@ABDULSALAMIBIYOMADEIBRAHEEM

Love to have you back, it'll be nice to see more technical videos. Like the 30 day ML videos

@harshmotiyani4507

You really motivate me a looot!! I am graduating this year with undergraduate in Math Physics! Spent a last few months on ML specially Random Forests. Hopefully this year I work hard for the Job Hunt! Thank you very much 😇😇

@supryaazhakath7385

oh wow.... I remember watching you a bit when I was still in college getting my degree in data science. Right now, I just happened to see this video so randomly recommended to me and I just graduated... Perfect timing! lol

@ianperkins8812

Oh, wow! Glad you're back.

@wisemant11

Although I am in a different line of work, this was good. Thank you for the content

@YuuzuShumamoto

My Youtube feed is getting better. Wouldn’t want to miss any of your updates :D

@Sunflower94H

I'm so glad you posted this! I randomly thought of your videos last week and rewatched the timeseries ones, and I was hoping you would post soon. So happy you did! 😊 Can you do a video about building a ML pipeline?

@knygaard100

Thank you for sharing! I'm not in data science but am a UChicago alum too which is how I found your channel originally. When I was job hunting last year, I was thinking really hard about a job with good people, good energy, benefits, and a set of values I aligned with. I did take a pay cut, but that stress you talked about in your video has lifted. I think it was worth it for me and where I'm at in my life (now about 12 years into my career in urban planning/ affordable housing development). Good luck on your current role and whatever comes next!

@madhavilingutla4031

Can't wait to see more helpful videos from you!
