@ltkerr4688

Y'all are the hardest working folks. Not only are you setting up your homestead, you share the process with us. Thank you so much. Blessings!

@ginger55081

Great planning on your part for your orchard 😃

@gospelgal78

I love the chicken tractor moving around the orchard idea! I'll admit I get pretty anxious looking for y'all's next video. Lol. Lord bless you both!

@mitche499

Your orchard will be wonderful. Love the way you are so precise Hollis, makes me chuckle every so often. God bless you and Nancy. :-)

@jennym4127

You guys are the best! Rock stars of homesteading! Makes me miss Fla , land of my birth, seeing all that white sandy soil that nonetheless, turns all the little kids bare feet soles black. Love how you are such careful planners. Can’t wait to see the beautiful results. Tons of blessings for your homesteading endeavors! 💐💐💐💐

@conservativetothecor

Im so glad for you both...What a wonderful huge prayer room to walk around on LOL

@McSnicker55

Last year was "berry" year - elderberry, blueberry, currant, black berry, raspberry, and strawberry. This year is "fruit tree" year - 2 peach, 2 sweet cherry, 2 apple. More next year. Im hoping to get fruit from the trees ( a few anyway) by the time my asparagus from seed produces. :) Great video, many nuggets to learn from. Thanks and God Bless!

@nesq4104

Shows like this inspire people to to rethink the use of our backyards. Most backyards are just a field of grass but if we all started planting renewable and easy to maintain food sources in our neighborhoods we would never need grocery store for fruits and vegetables if neighbors got involved and shared. If each neighbor just planted one fruit tree in the tiniest of yards the potential is amazing. It will also provide food and nectar to the bees that are dying of starvation because people plant non flowering items like bushes. Keep inspiring us, I could use a few good tips!

@pinkyfromhaughtfarms6550

Always so neat and organized! I love it and strive for it, but my notebooks are chaos! Teach me obi wan can-growee🙌 you're my only hope🤣

@jaygriffith5150

All I can say is "WOW"... you guys have got it together!

@pinkyfromhaughtfarms6550

Also depending on the type of tree stumps you have, you could always get mushroom plugs and inoculate them to get an extra bonus harvest out of something that's just in the way. Love your channel and all you do guys!!

@kellyhale2778

I love ya'lls homestead! Everyones dream.

@newdayfarm9463

I planted fruit trees my first year too. A chicken tractor is a great idea!!!!

@kathyressler4764

Orchard site and plan look great. Love that the trees will get sun and some shade. I have found that in Florida plants do need some shade. We planted two Florida Prince peach trees this year. The chill hours are very low. This weekend we have a fig to plant. Thank you for being inspirational.

@kb5815

You may be able to rent a stump grinder to knock those stumps down. They're small enough they won't tear up the yard. I had to remove a stump from an old maple about 6 ft around that way. I also saw on youtube that some people burn the stumps out. I haven't tried it but they seem to have good luck with it. Really enjoy seeing the plans you have for everything and how much you and Nancy have done! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your journey!

@SouthernLatitudesFL

Hollis, you may want to look into a Stump Grinder company. We hired a guy for $20/tree and he removed 5 stumps in less than 15 minutes. He even threw in a 6th one for free. It was a portable machine that got into hard places. Love your channel and plans.

@ClassicKas

Y’all have come such a long way since this video. The improvements you’ve made and the gardens you’ve been able to build in just a few years time is priceless. Thank you for sharing your gardening/homesteading adventures with us.

@jeanniegriffin1692

Looking good in Florida!💜

@kathrynlebel4930
