The Fire Cube 3rd Gen is pricey but provides SO much for a Smart home setup that Google/Roku pails in. I've had my Fire Cube 3rd Gen for over a year now, and it's been nothing but a great experience for me. Having the ability to control my TV, soundbar, and others like my DVD player makes this a FAR better choice with "voice" commands. Try doing this with a Google device - š¤£š¤£ NOT gonna happen, or a compromised Google TV China box with outdated, compromised firmware.

Amazon doesn't put much free space on their fire TV devices. They are not generous when it comes too their devices.

Currently using Roku; however, Roku has added operating system level video ads to their start screen. They are extremely distracting. I am actively seeking to exit the Roku ecosystem.

I wish somebody can make a streaming box that dnt need cable company at all or wifi or internet so we can really put these cable companies out of business. Every day some one has another new streaming box does same shit as all do .can it be done if these companies can steal cable to put on these boxes y cnt they make a streaming boxes that dnt need internet, wifi, or cable .
