@denycast

I love that, in the waiting for the Switch 2 direct, we get all those lovely videos about what a grreat console the Switch is, and how much fun we all had the last 8 years with it.

To Alex and Zion: You should play more Hades! When I Played it, I only allowed myself to play it on Sundays, because If I would have played during the Week, I wouid stay up way to long.

@nebben6470

As a pokemon fan I bought my switch with the main purpose to play pokemon games... That said, I really didn't expect to love Fire Emblem 3 Houses. I've sunk about 300-400 hours on that game just replaying the game and trying out different builds and characters. I wouldn't have played the game if it weren't for you guys so thank you for introducing me to a game I didn't know I would love this much!

@Stromatolites151

I have to echo the legends arceus comments. It’s exactly how I imagined playing Pokémon could be when playing blue in the 90’s

@GentlemanGamer94

If I could only keep ONE Switch game... I'd try to cheat and take the entire Xenoblade Trilogy. I was introduced to this phenomonal series through the Switch with 2, I own all the collector's editions and I can't imagine willingly letting go of any of them if I could help it.

If you forced my hand though and I HAD to only keep one game.... my head says Xenoblade 3 but my heart says Xenoblade 2. I played 2 at a time where I really needed it: the themes, characters and story really resonated with me; the setting and music live in my head rent free, and having a very fun and meaty adventure to go through gave me something to look forward to as I was dealing with the stressors of Uni. Plus, Torna is incredible.

It's not a perfect game by any stretch, but it's my favorite game on the Switch nonetheless.

@MillenniumFalcon

I know this might sound silly. I definitely enjoyed playing Skylanders Imaginators with my Son on the Nintendo Switch. It's an old game by Activision. But, he has so many characters from all the prior Skylanders Activision games and doesn't require a portal since the characters all load up like Amiibos. The anytime upgrade of skills was also a bonus in Imaginators. The graphics were very good and it was just a lot of fun for my Son starting in Kindergarten and he continues to play it still in 3rd grade. Odyssey, Pikmin 4, and Smash are our other favorites that we never get tired of and play over and over again.

@bregowine

Stardew Valley is a masterpiece that just keeps on giving after 200+ hours. The amount of care and detail Eric Barone has put into it is outstanding

@ignaciomunoz6753

I’ve spent more than 600 hours in Breath of the Wild and more than 200 in Tears of the Kingdom. There is nothing compared to the feeling of getting lost in that version of Hyrule. I have not enough words of gratitude for their developers, and I absolutely agree with Felix. Breath of the wild it’s simply the best game of all time for me as well.

@tjzambonischwartz

When I got my switch, I never expected Breath of the Wild to take up as much of my taking time as it ultimately did. It's just so engrossing.

@thatoneeco

You can tell I've watched too many NL videos because one glance at the title and I immediately thought "this is a Felix video"

Edit: Surprised about Zion and Smuglex appearing, now I'm intrigued.

@KoollKam

The one switch game I can't live without would be Breath of the Wild. I have over 1,100+ hours into the game. I have everything done, but the korok seeds (only about 400 found). I am that person that loves to go back and just enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset or ride my horse listening to the piano music. I love Breath of the Wild because it got me back into gaming during a really hard time in my life after I hadn't played any games for years till then. I had always been a Zelda fan and this is one of the best for me. Thank you guys for making videos like this.

@kellyrowe4075

Oh wow I never expected my comment to be featured and it’s my birthday to thank you so much guys! This whole discussion both in the video and the comments really prove how amazing the switch’s library is here’s hoping the switch 2 will be just as amazing!

@nicked_fenyx

My most played game is actually Powerwash Simulator (1,100 hours and counting), but that's largely because it makes such a perfect audiobook companion. If I had to choose just one game to play forever it would probably be Skyrim. It's probably my second most played game on Switch. There's so much to do that it never feels old. Even with hundreds and hundreds of hours played I still routinely find new quests and areas I haven't seen before, and I can always start a new character to go for a new build (though tbh moat end up as stealth archers 'cause it's just too fun, lol).

No Man's Sky also comes close, simply because there are more planets to discover than I could ever see in one lifetime. Also, Tetris: Connected, because there are game modes for every mood and the skill ceiling is so high that there's always room for improvement. But Skyrim is my comfort game. It's the one I will always return to, no matter what. So Skyrim has to be my choice.

@PumpProphet

I'd LOVE it if you guys would do a Podcast of some sort. After so many years watching your vids you guys have become so Iconic in the Nintendo community!

@PepijnKruiver

You are thinking of Rayman legends, Alex. It has like 70% of the origins levels in it in the legends artstyle

@MatthewMedina-b7l

In the conversation for me:

Witcher 3: The fact that this game runs on the Switch and is playable? With all the content. And you can connect to a PC for saves.

Mario Odyssey: I mean I have finished the main story like 3 or 4 times already. It is pure joy. Tough call over Super Mario Land/Bowsers Fury.

Mario Kart: No explanation necessary.

Last three out before my final choice:

Legends Arceus and Metroid Dread.
Arceus was just so much fun. Observing the Pokemon. Capturing the Pokémon. Filling out the Pokédex. The battles. Yes the graphics are garbage but it’s playable and it is just so much fun.

Metroid Dread…it’s such an amazing game. It came out of nowhere and it delivered. Great story moments, slick graphics, smooth gameplay and insane ending. Top two most replayable Metroid games for me.

The last one out is Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. So much content. So much fun to play. Great taste of old school Monster Hunting.

Number one for me is Rise Sunbreak. Rise by itself wouldn’t make it but the Sunbreak expansion added so much content and it is just an amazing game to play. Still the easiest way to play Monster Hunter online with friends. It’s tough. The monsters are great. The companions are a great addition. Just an amazing package overall.

@matteogagliardi8688

Splatoon, Breath of the wild, Odyssey, and Mario Party are the essentials.

@allanalbert9364

Alex finish Xenoblade 3!!!

@charlotteperry6747

Xenoblade 3 you don't have to committ 4 hours at a time if you don't want to! I spent a lot of time just exploring and doing side quests and found the game was quite easy to pick up and put down with frequent rest spots and quick save! Alex's non-spoiler summary was hilarious- and it doesn't even scratch the surface of the game!!

@snowypack

I must vote for Unicorn Overlord! "That's ONE down!

@HamLover17

Tetris 99 is part of my daily routine at this point. Easily my most played switch game. Probably would choose that.
