The genuine panic in your voice is an appropriate response
Exactly the appropriate response to that travesty. Use cardboard and paint instead of destroying books.
Literally started crying. May those books rest in peace.
I worked in the used book industry for a long time and unfortunately many many books end up in landfills nowadays. Creatively reusing them isnβt the worst thing, honestly.
I didn't see what the problem was until i realized that wasn't a cute covering she bought from Walmart. She ripped the spines and covers off the books to make that. That is BLASPHEMOUS!
Your reaction is appropriate!!! That hurts my heart to see books destroyed like that!!!
You can do this without ruining books, just print out a picture of the spines, and glue it to some cardboard. No books get hurt, and you can use recycled materials
I understand your pain my friend!!! My books are my babies. Even if I haven't read them in awhile because I read and reread constantly one day I'll get an urge to relive a story and if that book is gone I get emotional
"NOT THE BOOKS!!" i cry as i completely ignore the coverless, ripped up, stained books on my shelf behind me
Oh those are real book spines. I thought they were print outs. Oh no. Oh nonononono.
Oh no. No. No. Why... if movies are your thing, own that shit and be proud.
covers the eyes of the unwritten books
I know the woman in the video cut the books up herself, but to repair or scan books, cutting the spine is part of that, normally its replaced. So if you think this is a cool hack and dont wanna waste stuff, you can buy book spines online that was left over from repairs, rebounds, scans, etc.
...petition to make sure the bad lady can't hurt him and the books?
Oh wow that actually is a good idea if books weren't actually sacrificed lmao
The lies, the deceit, the wasted book space. π π±π’
The librarian in me is crying! I mend books, not destroy them! You protect those books Stuart! π β€π’
Honestly, this is a good idea for those that would be thrown out. So many places just throw books away
It's all fun in games until someone wants to read one of the books π
