I BET it's going to be one of those situations where he finally gets his shield back probably stealing it back from Russia. And the second he gets it, despite his size, he will be ridiculously OP with the shield.

Out of all the super soldiers he seems like the most unhinged brawler type. The type to run in the fire with no remorse so it honestly fits his character.

It's like playing a fighting game... Likewise in Dragonball fighterz, you can have so many Gokus with different outfit and playstyle the same way with mcu's Captain Americas... They made that decision I guess just to make him interesting, likeable and vulnerable so people can easily connect to him

He could use a beard trim too. Beard length seems to be some sort of signal to the writers to treat the character as a joke. Like Thor.

I want John Walker to give him his shield. The difference between Rodgers and Walker is that Steve never saw his shield (and his title) as anything special, but just as a tool to do the right thing. John, on the other hand, was mentally overwhelmed by having "the" shield. I think it would greatly show the character development to have Walker give his own shield to the comrade, showing he realised his mistake.
