Wasn't this a wonderful tribute to George, no egos, just great musicians coming together to honor another great and loved musician. Have watched it many times and love it every time.
This warmup was better than most concerts today.
Only George Harrison could leave an impression on so many other artist that they'd honor him this way... Lovely man indeed..
I will never ever get tired of hearing Eric sing George's songs.
How is it that I have seen ALL the YouTube clips of Concert for George and its rehearsal.... but everytime I see them again, I get emotional? There's something about this concert that triggers goosebumps(everytime) on me. Plus, I love all these adorable souls so darn much! Oh dear God.... here they come again, my goosebumps!
I wish I could have been there. What a line up. I still miss George very much. He was a kind and gentle soul.
I love how Ray Cooper is always moving with the tambourine or any other of his percussion instruments. He’s always got his own party in the back! It’s very funny to see him in the actual show.
One of the greatest concerts of all time, in memory of one of the greatest musicians, and gentlest souls of all time.
so nice to see George's son playing with these awesome musicians.
The way George is remembered by his friends in this emotional loving performance shows how precious he was. One of the real authentic creative personalities to be loved and admired forever!
Can't get over how many brilliant, famous, oustanding musicians, each with their own clout in the world, knew and loved George so much and valued their friendship with him so much. They all stepped up as one, for no other reason but to show him honour, homage , respect and take one more chance to spend time close to George and show him some love.
A wonderful concert in honor of a wonderful man. God bless everyone
The best concert film ever. All out of love for George. Couldn't get better.
Eric Clapton has a voice like honey. As did George Harrison. I loved them all. I sang a George Harrison song at my sister's wedding.
Amazing musicians, what an awesome tribute to George. Dhani is the image of his dad.
Once you know how impressive Marc Mann's contribution to this concert was, you can't stop looking for him in every song. Loads of eye contact between him and Dhani. A real pro with LOADS of different skills up his sleeve.
If you knew George, and were a musician, you wanted to play in this concert. Brilliant.
I love how Billy has that same great, kind smile at the keyboard that he had in the studio in the Get Back Movie. He brought that album and the vibe to the highest point. Those songs wouldn't have been the same without him. IMO of course.
God almighty the greatest concert film ever. Just brilliant talent all around and everyone playing together seamlessly. Real pros but beyond that. This collection of musicians is really reflective of the kind of man George was. When you attract these extraordinary musicians into your orbit you're living the right way.
