Honestly yea, I recently switched from a cheap racing chair to a Haworth Fern, night and day difference. I think getting a good chair is an investment, seeing as many sit at their desk for 6+ hours per day.

The company that startet it was dxracer and they where producing seats for hypercars but they had too much supply so they made chair out of them.(hope that helps)

I’ve had my Herman miller embody for a year now, best money I’ve ever spent. Way less bulky and way more comfortable than any racing chair.

I don’t use gaming chairs cause they literally fall apart in a year. I just use a 50 dollar office chair from Costco. it’s like 60 pounds and it’s peak. literally peak.

I’m very specific about chairs I sit in.. yes I own 2 very high quality gaming chairs mainly because I can sit well in them and personally think that they are more comfortable, mainly because I like the little more snug fit. I’ve had lots of standard office chairs before but all either resolved in me being uncomfortable, Itchy because of the fabric or I couldn’t really lean back in them entirely. I’m happy with the two I have and they have lasted quite long so far. Why I own two? I have quite the few friends coming over at times and even they love it.

I always figurednthe gaming chair design cames for people see racing sim setups and thinking they are cool (which they are) and then proceeding to not think critically about things and choosing form over function

i have that exact same chair in the photo but red, honestly i’ve started to get in these contortionist ass positions bro like my head being so low that it’s almost at desk level and i really need a new chair because the metal tubing to hold the chair up is poking through the foam and leather and hitting my back when i adjust
