and in the end, just a bunch of products, no real, specific advise, marketing disguised as review
saw the 15 mini pc's and decided this would be the first video i would watch for mini pc's.
Weird, all your suggestions are Ace magic, but then half of them youโve never even used.
Thanks for the help๐
I just bought 2 NUC 12 Serpent Canyons. They were the very best mini PC available 2 years ago and are being discounted now for $488. I know that NUC's last for years from personal experience and I am set for the rest of my time, I'm 73.
No batteries? I experience the odd power failure. Thought of losing a large spreadsheet or interrupted backup is a worry. What do you do? Can you recommend options for power failure / battery backup? P. S. Thank you for overview of mini pcs and recommendation of specific models. With pressure on to upgrade to Win11 or other option (Linux/Mac), had not even considered minis but maybe good viable option and some pluses like much cheaper than laptops and upgradeability.
I have the Ace Magic S1! I've had it for about a year, It still amazes me how great it is sometimes, I got it so cheap and actually for how cheap I got it the specs, are great. Intel Alder lake N97(one of the best of the Alder lake N series btw, but there is a slightly not as good N95 S1 version also, I recommend getting the N97 if you can, specs for it are just better. Even better than N100.) 16 GB of RAM, and I've upgraded it to 1 TB of storage, and I've used it since I got it for emulating retro games, currently have a retro gaming hard drive with 111,000 games, retroarch and psx2 set up on the S1, and I have the Ace Magic S1 hooked up to my TV with a keyboard and mouse I put on a board and control from my bed, and controller all hooked up, it's my ultimate retro gaming console machine right now! I also have the Ace magician AM 06 pro, with a ryzen 7 5800U, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage(they don't seem to sell the version I got with 32 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage anymore though, but as he said in the video these things are crazy easy to upgrade on your own, I've upgraded my S1 storage and can confirm, extremely easy.) BTW I should probably clarify I do not work for Ace Magic/ace magician, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, I actually just also think these mini PCs and this company in particular is awesome ๐. They had a controversy at there start where some mini PCs were shipping with malware, but that has not been a problem and hasn't been since before I ever bought my mini PCs, it seems that was an issue in shipment where someone was putting malware on some mini PCs, but they've long since fixed this issue, so don't worry about that if you see those stories online, simply run a windows security scan when you get the PC and you'll see there's no more malware. I got my S1 mini for I think it was like $240, somewhere around there, insane price for a PC of this quality, and my AM 06 pro for I think like $420 $430. Again great price for everything I can do with that thing. The AM 06 pro does have it's limits, but I will say can run up to like PS5 era games at like medium graphics settings at like 40-50 fps, so if you wanna pay more money for a full PC yeah you can get better performance, but for $430 you're going to be hard pressed to find something that can run everything that mini PC can, especially for it's size. Can't recommend these things enough. But, I do have also just a regular full tower PC that's a HP Intel quad core I7- 6700 with a GeForce GTX 1660S for running more intensive games. But even that thing, is off amazon it's a refurbished older PC that they gussied up and threw in LED lights and a graphics card, for $336. You can find great deals for refurbished and mini PCs on Amazon, is what I've learned in buying PCs. Don't go to Best Buy lol they'll rip you off have you paying $650 for a much worse mini PC.
Thanks for this. Any chance at adding the number of NICS under features in the spreadsheet?
Giving the prices the moment u talk about the product will keep people coming back
You sir earned a subscribe. Iโm in the market for a mini pc and needed a quick explanation to know what to look for.
Vey helpful, thank you! I'm more familiar with owning a gaming laptop and building onto it but I'm looking for a pc for a family member and didnt even consider these as an option :)
Fake recommendations he has affiliate links and gets payed a % for every mini pc we buy
This dude is the coupon queen! I love you
I need this now ๐ with this I can get this and a iPad
I might get a whole portable setup since I dont have alot of space in my home, I already got a portable monitor for my laptop. But thinking of having a whole portable setup might be interesting. A miniPc like this, a usb controller or 2, portable monitor, mouse and keyboard that I can easily move with unlike a full pc setup.
PLEASE, are these mini PC's capable of streaming 4K movies from them to the TV without any problems? From a Plex multimedia server and the movies copies onto the m.2 of the mini pc.
Thanks bro ๐ I didn't even know they had many PCs until I checked on Amazon today for a computer
Great video! Thank you very much :)
