I went to the Dr today as a pre visit before a procedure. All I did was walk into the office, agree to the procedure and told to schedule at the desk. For this a $200.00 bill was charge to our insurance. We were in the office one minute total. I asked the lady at the front desk about the need and expense for the meeting and she told me the insurance requires this pre-visit. What a waste of money.

My wife had surgery and while she was in the hospital she started her cycle. The nurse gave her a box of Tampons. When my wife was discharged she told the nurse to give the unused tampons to a patient in need. The nurse replied you might want to take them home we just charged your insurance forty dollars for that box. True Story.
