It's not easy and It's scary but it's worth it. Just don't let the planning stage boggle you down. I "planned" for 11 years and once I actually decided was able to actually move with in 6 months.

Germany could be an option

It is good for family’s I don’t know all the steps you need to do becausei got here through birth 😅
There are Programms from Government and churches so
you don’t have to worry about food, shelter and education and healthcare!!!

You may have to have to file much paperwork but we have programs to help with that.

About work:
If you have a specialty and are mid-Level good you will find something.
If not we need more people in health, or education facilities so there are probably jobs.
You are a nativ English speaker, if you find nothing anywhere use this to get a job at an Airport (CheckIn/Security/Cleaning/Callcenters what ever you feel comfortable with)

There are laws for equality and workprotection

I can’t say there is absolutely no rassim but it’s pretty low. Just saying because of the country’s history.

BTW if people stare at you it’s mostly that they don’t really look at you. They are to 99% thinking about something else and not checking where they are looking 😅 Daydreamer and thinkers.

Important is it’s not the USA you will get a culture shock in one way or the other I would recommend searching here for American creators that moved here for more information.

Where ever you end up I wish you and your kids a happy and peaceful live
