All of your daily driving computers tier list when?
This exact thing happened to me a week ago when setting up a new build. Windows seeks out a lot of drivers and stuff you need, but still had to go to manufacturer and get the right mobo drivers. I've got hearing aids connected via BT so got myself a motherboard with the feature. Imagine the disappointment when I had to get it to work myself. Glad it does work now.
I LITERALLY just started having my bluetooth act up on my new PC. The timing of this video is perfect.
"I have a $4000 5090 build" ya, way to flex on us Zach, glad you have fun on it however :)
I just got a wifi/bluetooth pcie card literally yesterday. Cant believe i went so long without it
we need a bluetooth tierlist
For anyone having Bluetooth problems. I wasn’t exactly in this situation but I was having issues since the Bluetooth range was not great, I tried updating drivers and that didn’t work. It wasn’t until I connected the antenna that it started working. I didn’t feel the need to connect the antenna since I use a LAN cable and I didn’t know that WiFi and Bluetooth used the same antenna for signal. P.S. It’s probably worth mentioning that this will most likely also improve your Bluetooth performance, so if you’re experiencing input delay try this and of course updating your drivers as well. But yea, if that helped anyone I’m glad I was of help.
This worked, thank you! Ran into the same exact issue with my new build. Didn't even realize I had the problem for over a month until I went to finally search for a controller via Bluetooth and it didn't even show up like this. "Couldn't connect" error drove me crazy for roughly 30 minutes until I found this clip.
Another thing to remember is adding that antenna at the back, that comes with the motherboard. It’s not just for wifi, it also strengthens the bluetooth signal
Just Zach indirectly flexing his new rig ;)
Updating motherboard firmware and drivers. That’s a great topic to always be covering
Had issues with my Bluetooth as well, I did some researching and some answers was as simple as getting wired Ethernet. A guy in the comments was explaining going wireless can interfere with your Bluetooth. Not a tech expert but if updating your driver doesn’t fix it try this 😊
Convert this video as a normal one instead of short so people see it when they search for the problem in the future, because they tend to trust normal videos more.
Thanks man i searched for hours and you are only one who was helpful....
Glad you posted this. Literally JUST had this issue come up last night. Good timing!🙏🙏
I'm a female gamer who plays Genshin, LoL, and The Sims 4 all the time, and let me tell you, gaming on a PC with Bluetooth is pure pain. I tried it once, and it was a disaster. In Genshin, I dodged two seconds after getting hit. In LoL, I clicked to flash, but by the time it worked, I was already a gray screen. And The Sims 4? Ever tried building a house when your mouse lags so much it feels like you're controlling it with your mind? Yeah, not fun. So yeah, Bluetooth for gaming? That’s like eating soup with a fork. High ping, input delay so bad you could bake a cake before your shot registers, and just when you’re about to win, boom, disconnected. Now you’re searching Google, reinstalling drivers, changing settings, and praying to the tech gods. But really, who told you Bluetooth was a good idea? Just plug in a cable, get instant response, no lag, no random disconnects, and no stress. Almost like gaming was supposed to be fun. But hey, if you enjoy making life harder, stick with Bluetooth. Just don’t be shocked when your biggest problem isn’t the game, it’s your own connection.
I once had the same issue a few months ago. What I ended up doing (if I am remembering correctly) was going to my control panel, then device manager, and then manually uninstalling the faulty bluetooth driver. Afterwards I restarted my pc and reinstalled the driver via windows update, restarted my computer again, and it worked. Edit: if you end up doing this, you may have to look in the optional updates section of settings to find the driver update
Guys remember, you can still enjoy gaming at a non-4000$ PC
I had this problem with my MSI mag 670, but it actually turned out to be the fact that I didn’t have the little antenna installed on the back of the motherboard. Still didn’t solve the issue of my Xbox elite controller rumble going off randomly unless it’s hardwired, but at least I can pair my AirPods now if I don’t feel like having a headache from my wired headset.
