I didn't bother to read the comment, but I did watch the video. Opera GX is and will likely remain my current browser. That being said I was not aware of the "VPN" being a proxy. I did learn multiple things that I wasn't previously aware of. Thanks.

ive done some digging aswell and i find that brave has a FAKE tor its like a trojan it acts like its regular tor but your data is still very voulnerable

you were the first thing that popped up when google misinterpreted my voice search lol I'm in cali (home to silicon valley also in the bay born n' raised south Hayward rep so i get the special privileges of opting out to targeted traffic etc i just like opera bc its as customizable as linux and i too lazy to switch my mac os i would switch to fire fox on opera but I'm used to chromium 🚬🐺 oh well this is a blind comment so ima watch the vid then give my thoughts i wanna give you watch time and boost ur small channel keep the grind up king you deserve the crown i just go to Linus tec tip tec tips for tech tips lmao but ill sub for short tech tips ill sub on all my 50 emails oaki 👀😱⁉also idc that i semi doxxed myself after my insta acc got hacked 2fa on everything (chat logs on the channel) disclaimer i say some no no words 💀

You make some really really good points. I think Opera in general is a browser in more of using if you don't really care about privacy or anything. But most of its features suck. The only time I ever used the Opera VPN is to test how well it is against IP grabbers and more. Opera GX on the other hand, I will admit, it has tons of personalization and I mean a lot, and the CPU limiters and such can be very useful, but its VPN still sucks and more. Not to mention like you said, its still by Opera which has garbage privacy. I think, if you really wanna use Opera, you have to let your privacy go out there. At least the adblocker is good. (also I think you should retitle it to Why I Don't like Opera than GX since you kinda spoke about Opera in general.) new sub btw, love this type of content.

I use opera (not gx) and i like it. I kinda understand the privacy issues, but again, google, instagram, youtube all have the same problem. Tl;dr: im happy with opera.
