One point of getting the filter wet with hot water is to release any cellulose flavours. If you toss the water out before pouring the coffee in you’ll naturally upgrade your coffee experience. (: Thank you for the review!

why do you think it didn’t heat to 212? because i’m having the same issue. Not the end of the world more curious due to being sold as a precision temp kettle
