WOW! I wish this was the first Zbrush beginner tutorial I watched. Many hours of headaches with the not-so-basic workflow all answered in 8 mins!
This is what you call a BEGINNER TUTORIAL, very clear and understandable. Thank you for this i will now try and face my fears by re-learning z brush
I enrolled a 3d modeling course in one of big, world known studios. Maya teacher is great but Zbrush teacher doesn't explain as good as you do so after an hour long class... I learned less than from this video. Obviously, I had to look for it on Youtube. Very useful! I will go through your channel, this is awesome!
I really appreciate this style of intro tutorial. One of the biggest challenges for me when learning 3D skills from YouTube tutorials is that videos aimed at absolute beginners tend to go through every step very slowly and digress a lot, and as badly as I want to pay attention my brain immediately starts bouncing off the walls wanting to get started instead of learning every part of the UI. And the biggest problem with that is that most 3D software--and Zbrush in particular--is not friendly to poking around without some grounding, because there are prerequisite steps for many basic functions that are very easy to get stuck on, and the answers to "How do I ____?" are often found in the intro videos. I'm grateful to everyone who does tutorials and this mostly comes down to how I learn, but getting through the basics so quickly made it really easy for me to follow. Even though I've been using Zbrush for about a year I learned a lot from this, especially the logic behind why some functions work the way they do.
watch this at 0.75X if you're trying to learn, thank me later
Don't waste your time looking at other courses and training videos, this is the best, thank you very much.
Thank you for this quick tutorial! I learned zbrush 2 years ago and I trying to refresh my memory and jump back into sculpting again.
Thank you for this quick tutorial reference guide. It's a great way to go straight to whichever section of video one needs in order to get to the answer they need the quickest so workflow is affected as little as possible.
I never had to look for someone who could inspire me in doing something big. Because I always had you as my role model in life. Happy birthday!
Im currently taking a zbrush class and I was struggling so much as none of the videos talked about these basic functions or answered any of my more serious questions. This video may have singlehandedly saved my semester
A huge THANK YOU. You are the first guy to finally explain the basics of ZBrush in a clear concise way. Many other vids would jump intro sculpting and leave out subtool management and navigation. Coming from C4D, that really helps. Cheers !
ty so much, i learned to use zbrush a long ago but i had forgotten everything, this helped me to refresh my memory
This actually helped me setup my zbrush shortcuts and made easier to get started.
I appreciate this, I literally went through these super complex videos trying to figure out how to sculpt imported items with the symmetry, and all I needed to do was click x. you saved me with this quick easy run through of thing you can do.
This was extremely helpful! I learned ZBrush before but I needed a simple refresher because it's been awhile
at first i thought, no way this can be helpful because how short it is- I was wrong! So very helpful to me- about one month into using zbrush for first time!
dude this is the best tutorial ever man if i had somebody explain every program i currently know as quickly as this id be way further along
I really appreciate this. I'm trying to break into the Video Game Industry with 0 Art experience, and this has helped me get my bearings/
@5:49 was the best use of that effect. That was Hilarious. Very helpful video. This is totally perfect for people coming from other modelers too, like me. Thanks!
