I just bought the Godin 5th ave Kingpin II in cognac burst with the 2 P90's my mind is blown away on how nice it plays, the tone and the quality, I can't put it down, Highly Recommend it's my new favorite x2 guitar and I have a few. Peace !

Perfect timing! I'm currently trying to decide between the full acoustic version or the kingpin. These videos should help. Have the guitars change over the years/this year or have they stayed essentially the same?

the back and sides are Wild Canadian Cherry( according to specs on Godin website) but what type of wood is used for the top, is it Maple ? Thanks I still love my Kingpin II in Cognac Burst, gorgeous instrument. Peace !
