Great stuff.
One lesson I learned is, practice doesn't make it perfect. Perfect practice makes it perfect.

The best tip I have ever received on this topic is to continuously go to interviews even if you are not thinking about a change. If you do so you will: 1. Be used to interviews and won't be nervous once you really want a change. 2. Know what the market is expecting from you and learn what technologies other companies are using. 3. Keep updated on what the market has to offer.

@Adrian-xe2sn

Would be amazing if you could do a video where you answer the top 20 behavioral questions like you would in a real interview

@inid3a

Hey, I donโ€™t know If youโ€™ll read this but here I am, commenting. I am Nesh, almost 5 years of experience as a software engineer but upon moving in the US with a dependent visa(meaning I am not allowed to work), I have my 5years gap. Did the homemaker thing for 5years and also built up my small YT channel. Now I can finally apply for a job, going back as a software engineer is my first move. I know that I already have an experience but still I have this fear. With the 5 year gap, how can I go back?? I am not one of the genius software engineers out there who can code with their eyes closed(you know what I mean). I find it hard now that I am starting again at 34. Reading a lot, motivating myself, studying, searching. Then I stumbled upon your video. This video hit me so hard coz I already knew all the things in this video. This was my strategy back then. I am not strong technically but I have this mindset that everything can be learned so I focus on what I already know, on what is in my resume and on my experiences that really brings out the best in me. I just want to thank you for reminding me. So inspiring. I hope one day, I can inspire others too. I hope one day I can go back to this comment and brag that I did it! God bless and more power to you!

is there a volume low feel when you see the video?

@einarabelc5

The worse part of it all is how completely and utterly ignorant recruiters are when doing an interview. The cases of that not happening are very rare.

@yangliu1471

Very useful tips! My final round interview at Microsoft is coming next week and I still feel I am not well prepared. Do you have any tips for the candidate at the last minute of the interview?

@elchinfit

What can you say about Glassdoor salaries? Are they true? If we should offer salary how can we decide our offer is good? which components we should compare?

@coderd8780
