This is why most protestants don’t read that part of John about the Eucharist. They bypass it all the time.
Bruh man had a real life encounter with the Lord....❤️
Glory be to Thee Oh Lord, Glory be to Thee!
The Eucharist is taking in God's Salvation in Real Time. In the Eucharist, not only, do we consume His Body, but also, we are consumed by His Great Love, to become united to Him, as One Body, as His spotless Bride
St. Justin Martyr (AD 148) "On the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or country gather together in one place and the memoirs of the Apostles or the writings of the prophets are read... then we all rise together and pray, and when our prayer has ended, bread and wine and water are brought... We call this food Eucharist, and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has received the washing for the remission of sins and for regeneration [baptism]." "For not as common bread and drink do we receive these; but in like manner as Jesus Christ our savior, having been made flesh by the word of God, had both flesh and blood for our salvation, likewise we have been taught that the food which is blessed by the prayer of his word, and from which our bodies by transmutation are nourished, is the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ." -First Apology

Keith Nester is the most sincere on fire convert out there.
Apostolic Father St. Ignatius of Antioch (c35-107) who was a disciple of John and Peter wrote in his letters: "Beware of the heretics. They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, flesh which suffered for our sins and which that Father, in His goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes!" "Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church." —Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8
Amen. If the Eucharist is just a symbol, my question would be to that person "why bother?" Anglican here.
Glory to God❤
