The cooling is done by vents near the screen. This ensures the best method of getting rid of heat without noticing the warmth. When the cpu load is high the fans turn on and it is clearly noticible. Most of the time the laptop is quiet when browsing, using office.

I don't know if if it is a universal problem. I read that there were some issues with this model but It's not that big of a problem for me. I highly recommend the full hd screen. Text is not to small for me. A lower resolution can be alright but in my opinion you are better off with the 1920x1080. I can't give any advise on the lenovo ideapad because it wasn't in my shortlist. Only the Sony Vaio Fit 15
had all the specs I wanted. Good luck with your purchase.

is this problem universal to vaio laptops or is it just some. i have got some more questions please. would you recommend the 1920 x 1080 resolution, doesn't everything appear really small. would a 1366 x 768 on a 15.5 inches laptop be alright. i'm also looking to buy either this or the lenovo ideapad z500. which would u recommend. thanks

As I stated in the description the wifi is one of the weaker points of the laptop. My router is on the first floor. When using the laptop in the living room or in the attic the signal is weak. It is usable but it is not as I hoped it would be.

Your question still remains unclear.  I don't know what you mean by "Too heated team". Maybe you are inquiring about the heat of the laptop when it is in use. For most of the time the laptop stays cool. Only when you are pushing it and the cpu is 100% the laptop becomes warm but not to an extent that it's irritating. I hope this is helpful.

Hi I've just purchased a refurbished one of these but it only comes with a DVD Drive & not Blu ray? I've looked every where in the UK for one but to avail? Are you sure yours is Blu ray as mentioned in the video? If yes then do you happen to know where I might be able to get a BD RW in the UK to upgrade?
