@ElementofWorship

You do SUCH a good job of not assuming that people already know certain things. You explain it just in case. As a beginner, this is so comforting. Thank you!

@Ex0dus111

Great video, a few workflow tips.
1. ctrl-shift-a to select none.
2. Instead of making two rects/circles, you can use select-shrink to clear the inside of a selection. It also allows you to control the size of the border with pixel precision.

@jarekb-a7530

This is the best GIMP tutorial I have seen on youtube so far. Also explains a lot about how layers work in GIMP. Thank you.

@jenniespicer8565

Thank you for putting all this free content out here. I have NEVER done ANY design work and I've watched and worked along with two of your videos and created both images. I am so excited to keep learning and creating!

@ZervSwerv

You're the only person I know who is good at gimp

@mammi7699

I really appreciated the fact that while this tutorial and the logo we are making is super simple and easy, it tremendously focuses on how the layer mechanics work. Im amazed by how helpful this is, you earned a serious subscriber sir!๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

@jordilostaloalcazar1143

I used to listen Glen Miller's in my grandad radio car, lots of memories come to me. Very nice job with your videos.

@bimsaram970

This was really informative. It took me 3 hours to make my first logo after watching this. Now I make one in 10 minutes.

@pshr2447

made my first ever logo, for my first ever website, THANKS A TON mate

@themorphingorb

It's better practice to not deselect after creating the circle and then shrinking the selection. That way you are sure the center is not skewed ;) Thanks for sharing your insight on this! Much appreciated!

@tadeuferreira4059

I can't thank you enough for this! I've managed to follow each step, and add my personnal touch so I can make the logo for my channel!

@osstheeboss

that opening sequence music gets me every time - dig it

@sebastianstephenson4272

Fantastic presentation. You've presented this as if you were teaching a new hire exactly how to follow this procedure. No fluff, all info. Liked and subscribed.

@leonidaslopez170

This is probably one of the videos with most value I have found. Thank you so much it helped me a tone.

@aytes44

I'm new to this software, and Nick is a beast. Your videos are awesome. Fast enough to keep my ADD self watching the videos, but not to fast where I have no idea what you did.

@priyanthisilva1934

Thank you! Worked perfectly. Your explanations are so easy to follow. May God Bless you.

@LeCVSUVL

Click, Ctrl + Shift.OMG! Thanks dude. This makes many things so much easier๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฝ

@chanalectrum4550

Wowow!!! Fantastic tutorial. I've been using the Gimp for about ten years now just using the built in logos, and now you have taught me how to actually design something! Just want to say a big thank you :)

@thenickfurst

Iโ€™ve learned so much from your tutorials. I feel like I have a decent grasp on Gimp, Inkscape on the other hand, not so much haha. Thank you for uploading these videos!

@gabrielvicol1676

Super great video makes excited to learn more and get started! Love the "stay organized" motto !!
