The more I watch from this series, the more I stand in awe that movies ever find their way onto the screen.
Filmmaking is the epitome of collaborative art, the more of these videos I watch about the wide range of talent it takes to release a film the more I am impressed and mesmerized by the whole process.
This channel is a MASTERCOURSE in movies!
I love this channel so much. Seeing how many roles are in filmmaking make me feel confident that I can find my way into this wild industry.
00:25 Most iconic and (sadly) frequent exchange between a filmmaker and his sound recordist. 😄
The detail in these breakdowns is incredible. Can't wait for the next video!
This was impressive. A balance of broad overview and some very important details. I was surprised to hear you mentioning conforming ( Color Grading process) and Compression ( Sound Editing). When you start hitting on stuff like that without getting into the weeds. You are really hitting on some important details that will provide the members of the audience who aren't familiar with these aspects of the process, the information they need to begin to take a deeper dive if they want to.
This narrator is the best.
I cannot thank StudioBinder enough for helping me to better understand the entire filmmaking process. I've gained so much knowledge and feel more confident moving forward with my own weird little films! Thanks a million!!!
studiobinder is my lifeline rn
This post-prod breakdown is so exciting! I want to be a picture editor and this definitely confirms that!
best YouTube channel i ever watch , please continue uploading this videos , they are so good
Bro, another incredible video from an essential channel for all film students.
5:30 remembered me about that movie with John travolta, and I forgot the name of it. After a few minets googleing, find it - Blow Out. I like how he disocvered the shot before the crush car in the film. Nice!
Please do an entire episode on the mixing process, from ideal levels to everything else. Sound mixing across the entire film is about the only challenge I'm still having with my feature film
Felt like a nice good afternoon TV episode... good vibes, loved it
Such an important video. I always wondered how they edit physical films. Studio Binder is the best. ❤
2:18 I'm putting this al pacino gif in my back pocket
