@DanielFBest

This man has a great character... and what a great teacher! I've watched all the lectures up to this one in the playlist, and his intuition about what's important, and what a typical student may find to be a difficulty, is spot on. Recommended highly!

@nicolascarpioramos7656

Great professor. He makes explicit references back to Calculus to justify each step and is very thorough in the unfolding of the problems. Thank you!

@muntoonxt

14:52 "e^(-t^2)... is the curve you're all afraid of" (normal distribution!)

@potato733

Hardly do I learn math with a smile. Thank you for walking me through this adventure, Professor!

@Jakestir08

wow so this is what it is like to have someone teach you this stuff that actually knows what they are doing.

@asphyxxiated

this is so true. Im starting to realize that one of the major differences between schools like MIT and the school i go to are the professors. If i had math professors like these guys, i would probably want to become a math major.

@Crasshopperrr

20- 24:00 Very lucid, well-done lecture

@thomasrad6296

The man's a masters of his craft.

@georgesadler7830

Professor Mattuck, this is a great lecture that uses Laplace Transform to Solve Linear ODE'S. Solving linear differential equations using Laplace Transform is very simple.

@MaRmAn1337

and this video clearly shows why MIT is top1 in the world

@mbaye501

THE COVER UP METHOD IS SICK! I USED TO HATE PARTIAL FRACTION NOW BRING IT ON YEAHHH!

@TashaM0901

thank you MIT !

@MrBill20010

this Professor is far better . Thanks MIT

@Liaomiao

Love it when this guy talks about the 'Hack method", putting on his hack voice and all lolol

@plutopulp

15:00..exp(-t^2) that's the curve you're all afraid of..don't panic..!

@x87-64

Arthur Mattuck is absolutely amazing.
Its a shame that I will never be good enough to study there.

@ScorpioPK

I am only 16 but amazingly, I kinda understood what he ezplained. I was searching a University for my graduation and this video brought a plus for MIT. I love this professor.

@alancasallas1501

25:55 glop glop glop glop....

@TheudosGauh2946

this professor is funny. i can always hear the laughter in students

@spase667

That was excellent. I'll retain this for when Laplace transforms come up later in the semester.
