A "BUG BUCKET" was the solution to my mosquito bite problem. A bug lands on water to get a drink, lay eggs, and fly's off, unless there is OIL on the surface, then they break surface tension and get stuck face down & die. So I use black 5 gallon buckets cuz black larvae hide best there so bugs lay eggs more in BLACK BUCKETS than lighter colored ones and that attracts them to the water that reflects the sky they see as they fly over it cuz I placed them by lea wind corners of buildings where they hang out to mate, high enough that dogs don't drink out of them, children drown, etc. I put a hole in the bucket a little smaller than the 3/8" bent 90 degree copper tube inserted into the hole from the inside using a tapered punch to force the smaller hole big enough to insert the copper tube. The hole is down about 5 inches so OIL doesn't splash out in a rain. The inside hole of the tube is below the waters surface 3 inches so the water overflows the bucket in a rain, not the surface OIL which is just 3 drops of used MOTOR OIL a week. 5 bug buckets cleared out the cloud of mosquitoes around my head in my welding work area and their diseases in 2 weeks, and their population didn't bounce back. A bug bucket killed 90 mosquitoes in an evening once, but they averaged 30 each per day, for me. I was going to sell bent 3/8" copper tube I got from the garbage dump in a zip-lock type bag with the how 2 directions above printed out for a PEG BOARD sales rack at the store. But I'm an old idea man now, not a market manufacturing stud. So I'm leaving all that up to you. I give the rights to my idea/invention, to everyone who wants to use it & sell it, but not own it. And all these city drains streets and interstates drains, you can see mosquitoes bouncing up and down over the drains. Swarms treat the drains and dishes between interstates roads and street roads, and you will kill a lot of the mosquitoes that’s breeding around our roads and streets.
