I’m getting my associates degree in medical billing and coding. After graduation I’ll sit for CCS-P and CCA. I’m going to study for the CRC at AAPC this summer and plan on continuing my education with a HIM bachelor degree at Purdue global. I also want to eventually get the CDIP And CPB.

I just found your page and immediately subscribed. I’m a newly Certified Risk Adjustment Coder and it’s been hard finding jobs with no experience. I apply for every role since I have transferable skills with my background in Revenue Cycle. The most they can say is no. I appreciate you for taking the time to make these videos for us newbies and wished I found you sooner. Wishing you the best on your transition!

I work for HCA and our coding director recently told us that they no longer require people to have any certification to apply to a coding position! Im not sure why they keep that as a requirement on the listing lol
