Great vid. I’m one of those lifelong residential contractors who got into cad drafting somewhere along the way to try to be the complete design builder and, as my plan evolved, draftng became my means of retirement when I’m no longer able to do the physical stuff. Which is kind of where I’m at now. I spent a great deal of time trying to become proficient in 3DS Max but the learning curve was more than I wanted to deal with. So I’m now working in Twinmotion and Revit and dabbling a bit with SketchUp. So glad I took it on early in my career and am able to fall back on it now for my primary income and enjoyment.

I want to be an architect 😌 that’s my dream job. I took design and construction in high school before I even knew what architecture was. I live in a very shitty basement that’s way too crowded. So I’ve been imagining and dreaming about what my dream house or even a small apartment would look like for years now. I can’t afford to go to school, so I study it on my own (knowledge is free right🌝) it’s gonna take longer of course. But I don’t want any other career I can’t see myself doing anything else(but maybe selling drugs💀)I hope that one day I can move to Jamaica or Africa and build a completely out of context house there😂
