:hand-pink-waving:Wow, another great reflection. This one really hit me as I have an estranged son whom I have not talked to, or should I say he not talk to me, for 2 years. This is my cross and though he is 45 I had to find peace. My peace is with the Lord and your reflection lets me know I am not alone, and we all have crosses to carry and this is mine. Dearest Father Brad, your reflection could not have come at a better time. I was yelled at and screamed at by my brother and sister. Then banished from the family by my father and his wife #4 for helping and defending the children of immigrants and refugees. Before that, I had agreed to be executor of my father's will as long as I received none of his wealth. A stepsister and her daughter were extremely critical of Catholicism and Catholics. I no longer invite them to my home. Yes, I will stand firm on my faith and let those who treat me terribly for my faith continue to do so. I know in my heart that Christ has better things for me than what my family could ever understand. The parishioners at my Church are my earthly family. Our priest has got to be one of the closest friends I have. I thank the Lord every morning for another day. I am blessed. Thank you tremendously and have a blessed day. 🙏✝️❤️
