@Opandort

I'm left social media for a half year and i feel free.

@Manish_0zero

loneliness , helplessness in todays world are also leading to social media addiction , people are using social media to escape harsh reality .

I’ve been on my phone since I’ve been 13. It’s been 10 years. Instead of learning a hobby or actually living, doom scrolling. We rather watch others do something we like than actually do it. Like kids watching adult play with toys on YouTube I’m changing that today and will try to learn when I’m on my phone and not doom scroll. This makes me more lazy than I already am and takes up too much of my precious time on earth.

@kingmikez0559

Sometimes when I’m stressed from college I just go on social media and waste the day scrolling. I don’t have friends outside class so I have no one to talk to or eat with.

@isabellaleavines5918

I am one of those kids who grew up on social media, been on there since I was 14 it's hard being an adult now because I spent so much time on those apps

@YTonYahoo

I hate the addictive nature of these social media platforms how they are all basically clones of TikTok. Even Facebook which was once tolerable is now just an infinite scrolling page of brain candy. It makes me feel so awful when I get caught up reading some attention-grabbing text which makes me watch the video underneath which makes me want to continue scrolling and before I know it 2 hours have past and I don't remember anything I watched. I can only imagine how harmful this is to kids who use this technology.

@CharcoalCinema

Pictures go in photos albums .

@antithesisegretscent

For me,researching purpose of the phones and the mobile devices and professor came to our university and they even explained why the Phones are addicted to young children.During high school or middle school,id remember but he said it was really bad for students to even use phones or devices every Time.And he was really right.thats why even I'm at university,2nd year and now I still think removing instagram or even stop using Facebook is the best and prefer not to use apps or ended up like using alcohol except you killed yourself and mental health matters❤

@alaalfa8839

As Sam Vaknin says true love and intimacy is the ultimate addiction, therefore if you are intimate and truly falling in love with your partner, it reduces the ned for other addictions, such as facebook.

@vinayakmane7569

When youtube video is not short we open comment section and scroll through to engage ourself in habbit of scrolling and watch video while reading it . thats how people watch longer videos . By getting addicted

More fun part is this feature is not an improvement of UI and UX. youtube knows this addiction of scrolling and thats why they inteoduced kt to get is addicted and thereby increasing views

@Drakernius-J

Peoples demons are addicted to social media.

@chris.asi_romeo

It's all by design to make it addictive.

@r.pres.4121

It is us that are at fault for our addiction to social media not social media itself. We became too dependent on social media for all our socialization needs and we have severed ourselves from people in our neighborhoods and communities.

@fotofrangonz

Why has this video from Washinton Post (with 2.28M suscribers just the youtube channel) from 6 months ago only 28,000 views and 16 comments???

@EddiesCrave60x

Putting important things first matters👍🏼

@ExiHyp

Let's make learning new stuff addictive. Go!

@Zyummysammy

I actually don’t like schooling. It’s boring.

@carlitos_2player

I think its the notifications that are the bad part, if it disturbs you really bad then turn off all social media notifications

@nikaa4237

Problem is that everything is one internet...job postings, recipes, and info about social clubs and dates. If they still put these in newspapers theres no way I'd be in this $ hitty internet and would save a bundle on internet connection.

@Cheng-jq6fc

we....the SOCIETY are bored. sad & lonely people just don't know what to do with the amount of free-spare times we
have😮😮
