@prototek100

Landon Dupont is another honorable mention. Went into the WHL at only 15 as a defenseman and is already making a big impression.

@R7U1LE

Yall say this every single year

@sonrichard76

Living in the Hat and watching Gavin light up the dub with magical like goals, his passing is, bonkers, can't wait to see him in the NHL.

@younghofftv

I just found 827 hockey videos from the last 10 years with this exact same title

@AdamEtok

I bet Nail Yakupov still talks about his Junior days.

@caedmonster6336

Got to watch him play the last game of the reg season, casual 7 pt night

@PaulGoodberry

The goals he’s scored last night were the best I’ve ever seen in 35 years of watching live dub hockey.

@PROPHYZ

Shits about to go down when someone with Mc in the draft shows up.
Be it mcjesus or bigjimKinnon - this one gonna be another mc to burn some fire.

@simondumoulin2254

In his last minor league season, Mario Lemieux scored 133 goals and 149 assists for 282 points in 70 games

@jaylenbarnes2.079

NHL 24 Franchise Mode Legend Gavin McKenna

@XXLART-ng9ok

one of the best hockey channels that’s grown on me and the place that’s given me puck knowledge.. thank you hectic!

@mr.aao2129

The fact it could be him and Cellebrini on one team is crazy

@MisterMonsterMan

I have had seasons tickets to a WHL team for over a decade now and McKenna is the most dominant prospect I have ever seen live. Bedard wasnt on the same level at the same age.

@bajjanitor

I like that he plays wing as opposed to almost all other great NA prospects that plays center in junior hockey even though they show very little interest in doing the non-point producing jobs of a center.

Seems like a no brainer for him to play in college next season. The schedule with much fewer games would help him put on some greatly needed weight, and college is a good stepping stone towards playing against grown men. It's also a touch more structured, which should be a good challenge for him to both play in and to break down.

@GraceL-l3n

Love this coverage buddy.

When ya play on the pond for years and anything warmer than -20C is a good day, you’re simply built different.

Yukon is my town. We are proud of Dylan Cozens. We are also proud that players from Whitehorse are getting more opportunities.

What folks are not talking about but should note: the level of environmental and physical conditioning built at the foundational makes the prospects from Yukon especially unique. In a small town with only a couple community arenas, unlimited frozen lakes, lean ground moose, and a community of amateur—yet skilled players, the game is different. A lot of kids up here choose to stay local but their talent is not unknown. This foundation allows for a level of tenacious character unique to the challenges of the deep north.

@максимкалинкин-й1с

Pittsburgh gonna end next season with 40 points

@hsdurfee

I don’t think enough people are taking into consideration the drop in competition of the CHL in the last decade. The NCAA has become a very attractive option with much more attention to player development and learning the game properly. Russians would rather wait it out and play a year or two in the KHL.

These prospects aren’t playing against the same level of competition as Crosby and his era of players from the CHL. So I don’t get wowed by these numbers and jump on the hype train.

And we’re seeing at the nhl level just how much better these ncaa players and even KHL ones adapt to the game than CHL players.

@tubbyrob

If you’ve seen him play you would understand what this guy is telling you. He is an amazing player.

@keineo600rr

The fact that he played for rink in Kelowna means his parents have big $$$$ and their program turns out bangers. In the CSSHL they are one of the top teams in 24-25. So good for him but not a Cinderella story. Hope he does well and will be looking to watch him play next year in the WHL

@SalSagev-n3s

5:20 6 foot 165 pounds sounds eerily similar to a kid named Gretzky.
