Great Insight. I work in tech too. I have some other points to share but the major one is that there are not enough businesses or innovation happening yet. It requires another decade to compete with likes of other countries. There are some companies i know pay very decent but they also have unrealistic resume bar (like from specific uni) which also favors people from the same region.

Thanks for the tips. I am currently located in the UK - our economy, living conditions etc. gets worse every year and was looking to the Middle East for opportunities - namely the UAE, Qatar or Saudi. 

I work as an IT Business Analyst. For Saudi roles I've often found though a lot of them have made speaking their native language, Arabic as a must requirement compared to the UAE.

I've also found there to be less BA roles compared to something like product or project manager, unless I'm not looking hard enough on LinkedIn?

Hi. I've been applying to jobs in the uae from India and I haven't heard back from any company yet. 
Can you please let me know what I can do? what recruitment agency did you reach out to? were they any good? 
Also, is it because I am not currently present in the UAE that I am not getting any calls? My resume skills do match with the ones on the job descriptions. 

Can you give some tips on how I can increase the chances of getting more calls?

the position was outsourced to Egypt. correct? 😂 
I went there last september with a solid cv, I am a PHP developer ( top-rated on Upwork ) and I though getting a job with 6k AED would be easy, I uderstand PHP is underpaid but I did not expect that the average is 3500AED or less than 1k usd.
Freelancing from Egypt makes much more sense at this point.
