This right here is exactly what made me fall in love with Catholicism. It’s so honest. It’s so understanding. I also saw the duality of the immense goodness of Catholics which reminded me that the level of goodness that there is will also have an equal level of evil. Catholicism reminds me of human beings receiving mercy.

Cooperating with grace - is truly the key - thx padre β€πŸ™πŸ»

Welcome to the truth of the Catholic Church.

@TheDriveIn.

As a protestant church person with a ton of Catholic friends, I've said this so many times! Catholics don't preach being saved by works. But hardly anybody wants to hear it. They're too busy hating eachother. Christians will think whatever they want to think about different Christians, because they're caught in pride, plain and simple! We have to examine ourselves every day that we don't set ourselves up above God. I wish all Christians could treat our brothers and sisters the way we're told by Jesus to treat them, with love and kindness, caring for one another. It's not a suggestion, it's a command.

@daniellavoie2650

Thank you for this; there are SO many evangelicals, some of whom are even ex-Catholics, who are convinced that the Catholic Church teaches salvation by works, myself included until I realized what I thought I knew about Catholicism were misconceptions. Confirmed and received into the Church three weeks ago!

@you1done1son1

You'd be surprised of how many people are still here somehow ❀

@SharonCullenArt

This is what I love about social media. The fact that finally true catholic teaching is explained to people who have true hate for us.

@SaintSpirits

Hail Mary, full of GRACE πŸ™

@SaintlySaavy

Fr.Alar is a remarkable man. If you havent watched his lessons and talks start.

@cherubin7th

You will be judged according to what you have done, is written in Revelation.

@remowilliams7569

More of this needs to be taught in the world. Most people, including Roman Catholics, do not understand this well.

@jamiecharles8334

Prot here. Do you ever feel we just talk past each other? I love you guys.

@lboggs8234

Amen!! His final commandment was to love one another.

@SweetJesusPs34v8

I’m very encouraged to hear this. Unfortunately, this is not how this is often communicated to me in my direct conversations with Catholic parishioners and leaders. There seems to be a serious disconnect and I hope this is what more unified messaging will sound like.

@KimberlyPalmetto

@11antun

it is catholic teaching as the Father said: Mercy of God! we cooperate! God thas not force anything on us, not His Love, Not the Salvation!

@taramilne9465

I've watched this entire interview, Fr. Chris, and it was awesome. The two of you hit it off immediately and the two of you were not wanting to end the conversation. It was really enjoyable.
