Hey I have in the money European Call options that expire in two years. Would it be wise only then to hold until expiry day, then exercise them? then I can sell them at market price, or just sell the call options and make profit of intrinsic value? I can see huge gap between the strike price of call options and the market price. It seems very reasonable to hold and exercise at expiry. by far, all who I came across advised to sell and never exercise at expiry date.
