Coming from the iPhone, three pixel 9 pro xl is the best experience I've ever had with a smart phone. It seems Google has ironed out the performance and software issues of the past.
the quality and polish of your videos is top notch, keep it up :)
Keeping my 2 year Pixel 7 for 3 more years. Google added 2 more years of Android updates. My Pixel is flawless and takes excellent pictures. Benchmarks mean nothing to me. Texting, phone calls, pictures, GPS directions, searching on the web, and a few apps is all I do. In three years I'll decide on Pixel, iPhone, or Samsung.
I'm waiting for the pixel 10 or 11, if they'll have the same polish as the Pixel 9, combined with the faster TSMC made processors, I'll buy one.
Gave Pixel a try in 2022. And now it's my favorite phone ever
For everyone that keeps complaining about slippery phones apparently you've never thought about putting cases on your phones. It makes all phones easier to hang on to plus it protects them in a drop.
I remember when the Pixel 2 came out, the panda color was such a sleek design. After the 2, this is the next Pixel where the design is amazing.
Getting any pixel phone feels like a dream.... I will make it come TRUE.
I'm still rocking the Galaxy S10+. I really like the Pixel 9 Pro but I would like to jump from S10 to Pixel 10 Pro. I hope Google keeps making the Pro compact phone.
Still rocking the 3a thanks to Lineage OS!
I just got mine. I upgraded from the legendary OnePlus 8T. This is a Pixel nearly perfect phone. UFS 4.0, better SoC, faster charging & silicone carbon battery tech & Qi2 would make it perfect. Super happy so far tho. Well done Google.
i started to fall in love with the 9 pro xl. i really wanted to get one but yea, that HUGE selfie camera cut out...
transcribethis AI fixes this. Pixel 9 Pro review discussed.
Maybe I'm tripping, but I just got my pixel 9 pro and I'm using it with no case right now. I actually enjoy the side rails bc their glossiness makes them feel "stickier' for lack of a better word, so it's actually comfortable to hold for me. I think this one comes down to personal preference. 🤷🏾♀️
Came from Iphone and Galaxy and tried my first Pixel this generation. And I love it. Phone technology and software has matured. And to an extent, they all work the same. But I have to say that the software choices particular to the Pixel are a lot more useful to me than those of the Iphone and Galaxy. From a hardware perspective.... I start caring less and less about the differences between phones. Outside of screen brightness and battery life.
I agree with lens switching in video. I use both my iPhone and Pixel every single day, and the video quality is what keeps me using my 16PM for video.
I've had the Pixel 9 pro xl and it's been consistently great. I can't see myself going back to Apple for the foreseeable future.
I think most flagship phones are great now and nothing in between them. I have a standard s23 but would like it to be a tough smaller but I know that ain't happening!
Thanks for making this long term review. This phone hits all the checkmarks for me, will be picking this up in 2026 hopefully. Am rocking the s23 atm.
