i have this guy to thank for my apple addiction
The M1 MacBook Air was by far the best money I've ever spent on an Apple product.
Apple has to thank you Apple Tubers for selling their stuff for them. Because of you guys I ditched my PC's and absolutely got hooked on Apple.
I remember my boss, at the time, getting a gen 1 MacBook Air. It was laughably compromised in so many ways at the time, compared with MacBook and MacBook Pros. It’s completely changed now and is such a viable and excellent product for what it does.
I love how the MacBook Air’s goal is to be thinner & lighter than the Pros, but it’s completely opposite for the iPads 😂
"YET!", I know where Greg got that from: the Antennagate press conference where Steve Jobs said "We haven't figured out a way around the laws of physics...YET!"
Used to own a 2019 Macbook Air and sold it around 2022. I think this will get me back on the train because I think the M4 model is actually really cool.
5:20 "user-replaceble ram, which nobody care about anymore" i like your funny words magic man
MacBook Airs are best apple products out of all their product categories. People can debate how Apple do cost cutting in iPhones by giving 60 HZ display or how their watches and AirPods are super expansive compared to the market but their MacBook Airs are completely different from this. There isn't any competition in windows space which provides same value for money product like Airs. Buying MacBook Air M1 was great experience for me.
Can you start making those animations again? They were so good.
Someone recently asked me to fix their MacBook Pro from 2009 😭 the thing weighed more than my briefcase. It was surprisingly in great condition physically but the battery was had 0 capacity. I told him to use it as a decoration
The Air has never appealed to me as a graphic designer and video editor. Which is why I’ve always opted for the Pro with more storage and memory.
The real thing that keeps me from the air is 60hz. When animating in flash/animate, the 120hz really helps (they say it’s adaptive but it’s usually fixed at 120hz)
nice explanation i always wondered how they got so thin and advanced nice vid !
Why do i love apple so much when they make the products so thin lol ❤
4:40 Correction: the first-generation MacBook Air was not available with any RAM upgrades of any kind, not even from the factory.
The Air definitely needs a new design update fitting for Apple Silicon, making it even smaller, like the new Mac Mini. Bring back the sub-12” envelope sized Air.
4:16 64gb on Mac is equivalent to 128gb on Windows /s
Man, you really explained everything so well. Love your channel 🤘
