@vale326

He offered food to the reports because he is probably grateful that SOMEONE is willing to hear him out and spread the word so that his daughter’s case receives the attention it deserves. Those haters are terrible people, they don’t know empathy.

@flyingwaytooclosetothesun

it’s so maddening to see a grieving father be torn apart online. god forbid someone who’s mourning their child who was murdered not act perfectly in front of cameras

@herenowtoday

"She became a star in the sky "is an expression used for her death because the word "death" is too strong a word for Koreans to say out loud.

@shainafullerton2433

haneul's dad is grieving publicly, and people are picking him apart. Of course his daughter is the most important case to him, SHE'S HIS DAUGHTER????

@kennakellon8852

“He’s doing too much why is he doing too much” it’s his CHILD and it’s disappointing to see how many people wouldn’t do SHIT for their own based on their reaction to him

@Tennanty

how boring can your life be that you have no other thing to do but hate on a father who just lost a child to a teacher who youre supposed to trust with your children?

@jennluong2591

It baffles me how South Korea is so worried about birth rates and this is how they treat the passing of a child. WHO in their right minds would really want their children growing up somewhere like that? 🙄 Focus on the child and not what the father has done or not doing.

@TheBub26

she should have been fired immediately after she assaulted the teacher who asked if she was okay as she was crouching in a dark room. inexcusable she was not

@spencerwoods2336

God forbid a man try to act like he's okay after his daughter has been murdered. Dude grieved openly and was criticized, decided to close off, and was still criticized.

@IAmNotDiluc

The fact they give the dad all this hate is sickening. HE IS A GRIEVING FATHER, HIS BABY IS GONE. IMAGINE SEEING PEOPLE MAKE ALL THESE ACCUSATIONS ABOUT YOU AFTER YOU HAD YOUR LITERAL CHILD GET MURDERED??? I genuinely cannot wrap my head around it.

@MorganVsTheInternet

The cops being so dismissive of the fact that an 8-year-old is missing is disgusting! Does it matter if the kid ran away? They're 8, and you still have to find them!

@Geospasmic

I'm an outsider but the father's demeanor seems completely normal to me. He's grieving, stressed, angry and making completely reasonable requests of the media. Just a little message to his lost daughter. I'm appalled at the lack of grace being given to him.

@ellaluvsbats

those netizens picking the father’s behavior apart are disgusting. he is clearly grieving but also trying to keep his daughter’s name out there as much as he can, to help her case

@joanasantos3097

I don’t understand why she was still able to be at the school after attacking another teacher.

@brooklynlouise7736

This entire time i took the word "star" to mean she passed and is a literally star not a "celebrity" and i cant understand how it could be taken any other way

@NOTALLCATSARENICE.

Imagine your kid gets stabbed to death and people hating on you because you talked about boobs 10 years ago

@kathycooper3594

I wouldn't care if her father was on adult sites it has nothing to do with the murder of a child. Where has our culture gone so wrong?

@monogurui6533

He doesn't sound excited to me, he sounds like he's trying to hurry up and get away from the cameras because he's about to break out into tears. I also don't think he's demanding anything, he just wants his daughter to be remembered and loved.

@Gumdroppgirl

When her father said “adults are sorry” adults should be. I’m sorry and I’m nowhere near Korea. Adults are meant to protect children and prevent harm. Whether it was foreseeable or not an effort must be made. Adults at that school should have noticed the signs. They had ample time.

@mirba710

the fact kids face multiple threats just by attending school is insane. RIP to this lil baby
