Love what he said about seeing people in something like this and out of tents!! Yes!!! It's a great more affordable way of living for those that can't do a traditional house or apartment. I have considered this for the future. Great job is a beautiful place!
Lol. That swing.
I love the concept of converting a shed into a tiny home! It’s amazing how you utilized the space so effectively. The choice of materials, especially the natural stone tile, really adds a touch of luxury to such a compact area. For anyone considering similar projects, I suggest thinking about the flooring early on. It can significantly impact both the aesthetic and functionality of the space. When estimating costs for flooring, consider the type of material you want, as well as installation fees. Using tools like FloorTally can help keep track of measurements and costs, making budgeting easier. Also, I’d love to see more on how you tackled insulation and heating in such a small space—those details can be super helpful for others looking to do similar conversions! Keep up the great work!
I can't believe you would spend $30k for that? Not enough there dude!
Awesome thanks for the content wife and I have been thinking about converting our sheds
this is all someone needs! fantastic build
Such an nice easy going personality, very creative
Cool project. A lot of great ideas for my property. I might add gutters and down spouts to your build
My ancestor founded Index. How cool is this!
It all looks fabulous
I love this one. Excluding the swing. 😂 cause….why? 😂
Looks great. Thank you for sharing
I love everything about it!
After losing home and family to a fire I sold that property and bought four gorgeous wooded acres in NW Lower Michigan on land contract for two k down and two hundred a month in 2017. I was not asked a single question about credit, employment, or finances. Six and a half years later I got my deed. When I bought it I had a 12x14 lofted shed built and delivered for 3,500. I could have done rent to own for a buck and a half a month. I had underground electric brought in for 1,600. Overhead would have been less. A used wood stove and installation was about five hundred. I bring in water in glass jugs for drinking and cooking. I catch rain for the veganicz gardens. I have a toaster oven, hotplate, and camp toilet in there. You haven't lived until you've showered in a thunderstorm! I finished the interior with castoff materials from Craigslist and Habitat stores. It is illegal to live rustically but it's green! No one knows or cares. Young people, stop paying 1,500 a month for a one bedroom apartment in town. If a five foot elderly disabled woman can do it so can you.
nice build ...i like it all except the induction stove top almost in the corner .. odd place to place a stove top
Thirty thou. may be cheap for a house, but to rest that 30 grand on cement blocks with no footing & sheet rock skirts is gonna cost a hell of alot more when rain sinks those blocks. Then there's when the snow melts as well.
Cool build.
I would cut a hole in the living room wall, put a pond out there and fish from the couch.
Beautiful setup. The only thing it lacks is a foundation..... All that luxury but it's not on a solid foundation. Kind of mismatched. Also if it was on a foundation, putting another connecting shed near it would be easier.
