Elytra fall damage is really weird, because it doesn’t take speed into account at all. It takes the place that you started descending from and calculated fall damage as if you weren’t flying. The only way to prevent fall damage with an elytra is by looking upwards at least 40 degrees. So even though Myles was going slowly downwards, he didn’t look up enough to cancel the fall damage

To travel at light speed you’d travel the width of the Minecraft world in 1/5 of a second. To travel so that it’s even registered by the game, as in to travel one tick, you’d need to travel 15,000,000 blocks

35,000 planks sound scary as fuck, but when you do the math, you can see that that's just almost 2 double chests full of logs, which will total the 35,000 when crafted into planks.
