I was at a friend’s wedding, surrounded by music, laughter, and conversation. But all I could think about was how I didn’t feel like I belonged. I wasn’t unhappy, I was just... flat. I didn’t know why, but that line stayed with me. I downloaded the book, expecting clichés and recycled advice. But instead, it felt like I was being slowly reintroduced to myself. Not the version molded by fear or rejection, but the version that had been quietly waiting underneath. I started making different choices, not louder, not more dramatic, just different. And people felt it. My ex actually messaged me saying, you seem different lately. I can’t explain it. But I could. I was finally home in my own energy. That book didn’t change me. It reminded me I never needed to be changed in the first place.
