So excited for this review I’m doing the front end track now and I was wondering how the tech degree worked
Another great episode. I just started Treehouse Front End Techdegree myself, mainly inspired by YouTubers Chris Sean and SelfTaughtDev, both Techdegree grads. 👍 on the full screen presentation as well.
I really needed to watch this. I’m 42 now and always thought I was too old to start but now I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the motivation!
im 19 trying to getting into coding this video definitely helped me get some insight into coding
This was a very informative video. I appreciate the criticism and the insight from the 3 individuals that participated. I'm a business analyst, over 40 that is wanting to transition to web development. As a noobie Treehouse sounds like the right place for me but I am keeping in mind of those holes that were pointed out. Thank you
Just wanted to say thanks for the great content Don. Came across the channel looking for a review on Code Smith and have been binging on all of the bootcamp podcasts since. I think I am like 8 interviews deep now lol. As someone going for a career change from a Registered Nurse to Developer a lot of the content has validated my struggles so far and has re-motivated me to keep pushing down the self taught developer route. Joining your discord community now and am looking forward to meeting everyone there and hopefully contributing some positivity and motivation.
34 and going into this with little experience, but highly motivated. Not sure if I should do treehouse , physical boot camp , or another program . Just started free code camp
thank. i have been looking for a review of this program for so long.
Awesome intel! incredibly helpful. IMO
Great video BTW 🥰
As a current students of the frontend techdegree i can say that yeah there are holes, and i'm adding to my learning from other resources but Treehouse gave me the confidence to build things on my own :)
This was an awesome video. Creative and informative!
Is Colt Steele bootcamp course better than the team treehouse tech degree course ? The treehouse course is $199 per much and Colt’s course is much cheaper. Any of you took either course ? Suggestions ?
treehouse is a starting point for front end at best... a lot of the content on treehouse is also out of date, on the plus side its great for learning basics for cheap at your own price.
A front end developer “tech degree” without any frameworks in 2021? 200 dollars a month to learn basic HTML/CSS and JS is far too expensive. If the slack community is the best thing about this, there’s literally hundreds of free discord channels they could join.
I’m surprised React isn’t included in this tech degree
Will you ever consider taking questions from your viewers to ask these people you interview? Cuz I’ve watched a few of your videos now trying to figure out my direction, but every video still leaves me with more questions that weren’t answered
